Small bed, not comfortable bed to sit and read, because the mattress was moving forward:( I didn't ordered the breakfast, and after checking the buffet decided to have it somewhere else in the city, I didn't like the selection, for the cost of 15€.

“Clean and affordable ”
I was fairly happy with it for the price I paid. The room was clean and looked like it had been refurbished, bathroom looked new. I was fairly happy with it for the price I paid. The room was clean and looked like it had been refurbished, bathroom looked new. I agree with other reviews that is is not a 4* hotel, it is a 3* at the most and that is the price I paid. My check-in experience was a faff and my room was missed for cleaning on 1 day but apart from that, everything was fine.

“GOOD PLACE TO STAY IN PRAGUE, QUITE CENTRAL AND WITH A REASONABLE PRICE”

As a traveller on a tour with a Norwegian choir, I spent three nights at the Crystal Palace hotel in central Prague. The hotel is located in a quiet side street with a 10-15 minutes walk to central Prague. Not much noise from the traffic outside was heard when we stayed there. Checking in took quite along time, but as we were a group 40 persons we can understand the situation. The lobby also was quite small so some of us had to wait outside for the checking in. Our room was quite small, but OK, with shower and toilet and some toilet articles and a wiev of the backyard. Breakfast was good with multiple choices. Sometimes both coffe and juice had to be refilled. However, the room was quite noisy when the guests filled the room. Some curtains would perhaps have made it easier to speak across the table. There was also a charming and sunny outside terrasse where some of the guests preferred to have their breakfast. The staff was attentive and willing to help if needed. One of the choir members celebrated her birthday during our visit. The choir did a performance of "Happy Birthday to you" at breakfast, and immediately after one of the waiters brought her a bottle of red wine as a greeting from the hotel. Very popular both for her as for the choir members. An OK place to stay if you are looking for a reasonable price for a stay in this fascinating city, a good service, but not luxury. Henry J.
