Hotel Josef is conveniently located with a 5 minute walk to the old town square. Service in the hotel was top notch, from Mohamed at the front desk to Martin Petran managing breakfast in the morning and the bar in the evening. They were so helpful and friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were a good size with a lot of modern amenities. We loved Prague and will come back and most certainly will stay here again.

“Fab long weekend in Prague”
Hotel Josef was fantastic , we would happily stay again and on the basis of our visit recommended to anyone thinking of booking a stay in old town Prague. Especially the complimentary bottle of Wine on arrival was a lovely touch. To the team at Josef thanks so much 😍

Fabulous hotel in a central location in the old town. The breakfast was comprehensive with very good coffee. While our room wasn't huge, it was fine--we came to Prague to be out and about, not in a hotel room. I would recommend a room that doesn't face Rybna street if you think you might want to sleep with the window open (with heat or air con turned off) as there was a fair amount of street noise at night. But with the windows closed there was no extraneous sound. Friendly staff.

An architecturally imaginative hotel with an incredibly convenient location and unfailingly helpful staff. Because of its striking design you can't miss it--helpful if you've got a few pilsners on board. And it's literally a few minutes' walk to the tourist mecca of Old Town Square. A couple of minor caveats: the emphasis on the rooms' design occasionally sacrificed convenience and even safety--our glass-cube bathroom was for some reason elevated a few inches over the bedroom floor level, which wasn't great in the middle of the night. Likewise, while the staff was unbelievably helpful--they arranged for the shipment of posters to the US without blinking an eye--some of their restaurant recommendations could have been a bit more locally attuned. We were sent, for example, to Kolkovna Celnice, which looks like a Czech TGIFridays, instead of the bistro at the corner, which proved excellent. All that said, a wonderful place that I would go back to in a hot second.
