This hotel is the very best location in Old Town Prague. It is on the square, directly across the street from the beautiful cathedral. The weekend crowds are amazing here, and they are very friendly. The ceilings in the rooms are ornately painted which gives a sense of how artistically talented the Czechs are at everything. The morning breakfast is plentiful and excellent quality. The staff is helpful with any request, however during the busiest check-in and check-out times they are understandably overwhelmed. You will have a fantastic Prague vacation if you stay here.

We stayed in Sept and really enjoyed our stay.We walked from the train station with roller carry-on bags no problem.The location is in the main town square,so with the cool nights and the windows closed people noise from on the square was no problem.The bedroom ceiling was painted,the breakfast was good and they had an elevator.

The hotel is at the very center of Prague main square facing the great panorama view of Church and historical buildings. Great spot to walk around the city. Hotel is small and rooms are basic but clean. We stayed only 1 night before leaving the city but had very impressive view over the window from our room. We had an unpleasant experience with one staff at desk but next morning the new one was so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great. This Hotel is perfectly located for a visit to the city of Pargue. Located right in the Old Town Centre it is right in the heart of all attractions. All major attractions are in walking distance. Rooms are basic but very comfortable. Service is excellent - very friendly and helpful staff, Breakfast is a buffet - but nice. Thought we might suffer from facing out onto to the square with late nigh noise - but no issue - establishments around the square seemd to close down befor midnight! (Oct). We also ate lunch and had beers / coffee at the Au prince Hotel around the corner - again a great location and a super roof top terrace and a newly opened cellar bar The Black Angel - great cocktails and staff!

This hotel deserves at least 3 stars for the location. You could not be in a much better location in proximity to the Old Town Square. The breakfast each morning was extremely delicious. Also, the service was very good. My only reservation for giving this hotel more than 3 stars is the actual room itself. Definitely not a luxurious hotel, but simple and serves its needs. It could use some updating for sure. If we return to magical, fairytale land Prague, we would probably opt for a more comfortable hotel.
