“Metamorphism EXCELLENT!!!”
This hotel is exceptional. Great location with lots of restaurants and shopping close by. It’s is it’s own small square the “Ungelt”. This was for merchant security and protection in the 17th century. It adds to the allure in the 21st century. Rooms are large, bathroom with huge bathtub and shower.… more

This was for merchant security and protection in the 17th century. It adds to the allure in the 21st century. Rooms are large, bathroom with huge bathtub and shower. A/C works very well. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They will know you name right away. Can’t recommend Hotel Metamorphis enough

“Good stay”
I had there really good stay, there is good location,Charles bridge just ten minutes walk from this lovely hotel, Old town square around two minutes, good restaurants near by, friendly hotel staff, definitely recommend!!!!!!

“Bright”
Really great location. Good breakfast in linked hotel. Our room up 3 flghts of stairs so would not suit all. Rooms clean, bright and airy. Beds comfy.Stayed 4 nights. Had o close windows as it was noisy 3/4 nights....but same for other nearby hotels as sonear bars etc.

First, reading the Trip Advisor reviews, there appears to be a lot of confusion about this hotel. I did look at the photos & this was the hotel that we stayed at. First, reading the Trip Advisor reviews, there appears to be a lot of confusion about this hotel. I did look at the photos & this was the hotel that we stayed at. My wife & I stayed here for 2 nights in early June. The Hotel was quite nice,…once you found it, and if you were driving a rental car like we were, it was quite an adventure just finding the place. Once we actually got to the hotel it was good. The staff, Honza & Barbara were wonderful. However,…there is NO elevator & we are heavy packers. Our room was very nice,…but it was on the 4th floor. Honza was especially great helping me get the luggage to/from our room. The paid parking was several blocks away from the hotel (lots of 1-way streets), getting the car to the underground parking was another adventure. Honza was great assisting me on the morning we left Prague, heading to Vienna. The local restaurants were good. Honza recommended a very good 5-6 hr guided tour of the city, which was very good. Our guide Susanna was excellent. One other thing that I want to mention, & this has nothing to do with the hotel. Lots of young people partying in downtown Prague, which is fine with me. But, in the early morning when I went out to walk there was a tremendous amount of trash, beer bottles/cans, paper, food wrappers, etc. Not a good look for downtown Prague & the young evening party folks. We didn’t see anything like this in Nuremberg or Vienna.

The Metamorphis Hotel in Prague is a nice stay. The Metamorphis Hotel in Prague is a nice stay. Located in the very best square of the city, the Hotel offers very comfortable beds and rooms, okay breakfast and a proactive gentle crew to receive it's guests. However, the WiFi is quite poor inside it's rooms. It's speed is slow and it's signal is limited to a small area near the door. In the corridors and reception we could have a better experience with the WiFi connection.
