“HIGHLY RECOMMENDED”
The Hotel is conveniently situated the staff were very friendly and helpful it was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was outstanding. Highly recommended it offers very good value for money should I return to Prague this is where will stay.

The hotel's location is excellent. It's away from the overcrowded tourist areas, but easily accessible to them via tram or other transportation. The hotel is in an older building with slightly old-fashioned decor, but clean and well-maintained. Buffet breakfast with many choices. If you have difficulty with stairs, inquire directly with the hotel before booking to see if they can accommodate you. We were on the 5th floor and the elevator stops on a landing between floors 4 and 5, requiring using a flight of stairs either up to floor 5 or down to floor 4; not sure if all floors are like this. Plenty of restaurants and mini markets within a 10 minute walk. Also a bus stop and two tram stops close by. If vising the castle, use tram 22 on Vitezna street to avoid a long steep walk up to the castle.

“Great stay in Prague”
Hotel Petr was a fantastic stay. Tram is next door, neighborhood is nice. Room was very clean and had a little fridge and television. Breakfast had sausages, fruits, pastries, coffee, bread, cheese, cold cuts, yogurt, and all you could need to start your day. I definitely recommend this place in… more

“Gem of a Hotel”
This is a gem of a hotel away from the tourist crowds but just a few minutes walk to trams connecting you to the metro, old town, castle district and much more. This is a gem of a hotel away from the tourist crowds but just a few minutes walk to trams connecting you to the metro, old town, castle district and much more. One could even walk to most tourist attractions in 20-30 minutes. The neighborhood is very quiet, mostly residential with a few good restaurant and cafe options. There was always someone on the desk and English was spoken. Transit tickets and passes were sold at the desk at the face value rate. The included breakfast is very good. There is a room safe for a small daily fee. There is AC but this is also for an extra fee. Luckily it was not particularly hot while we were there and we could open the windows. I would stay here again and would recommend it as an oasis away from the bustling touristic areas.
