boked this hotel for a visit to the xmas markets. Room was warm and cozy. Had a lovely view of Charles Bridge. We were on a high floor, therefore, staff carried our luggage to the room. We were b and b, breakfast was varied and plentiful Full English or continental. They also have the restaurant available on an evening. Plenty of hot water and room was warm. Complimentary Coffee machine on a lower floor for the guests to use;. Shops and restaurants in the vicinity and only a short walk to old town square. Would definately return.

A lovely traditional hotel in a great location. The hotel is right at the end of the Charles bridge so it’s really easy to get to all of the main sights around the city. We couldn’t believe how quiet our room was considering it’s location. There was lots of choice at breakfast and we particularly appreciated the free tea and coffee that was available all day. The room was spacious, and toiletries and a hairdryer were available. Would recommend.

This inn has an excellent location on the Charles Bridge and is close to public transportation for catching the tram/buses to go to the Castle or the main train station. I stayed on the 2nd floor (3rd floor if you count the ground floor as the 1st floor). I knew there was not a lift when I booked my reservation. I had a carry-on size suitcase and had no issues getting it up or down the stairs. The room was a great size and had a good layout with a small hall leading to the bathroom. The hall had a coat rack which I found invaluable. I chose not to pay extra for a tower view room and my view was of a rooftop - which was fine. I got what I paid for and I was in the room to sleep. As others have stated, the room was dark. Even with every light and lamp on, I did not have enough light to read at night. The lamp beside my bed was so low in height, it did not help. During the day with the curtains open and all the lights on, I could read fine. This only caused an issue once, as most of the time I was on my phone and the light did not make a difference. The house was built in 1597, so they are probably working with what they have. The only other quibble I had about the room was the smell in the bathroom, which was stronger some days than others. Also, every time I went in the bathroom, I became congested. Not sure what that was about. Even with the light and bathroom smell, I would stay again. The breakfast was superb! It had a great variety and the food was tasty. This is a great inn/hotel with an incredible location. It has a few quirks, but if you know ahead of time, then forewarned is fore armed.
