Fantastic hotel in a palace. They have spa and gym facilities. The good point is that gym is really good, with good machines, but opens too late, they should improve the hours, at least for the gym because people that goes to work cannot start the day at 9:00. “Great breakfast, bar closes at 10pm!”

Arrived and offered to upgrade our room for 30 euros a night from a standard to a deluxe. We didn’t bother as we intended on being out most of the time. Arrived and offered to upgrade our room for 30 euros a night from a standard to a deluxe. We didn’t bother as we intended on being out most of the time. Our standard room was perfectly adequate, lovely bathroom, only velux windows so no view however. No milk was provided with the tea and coffee and kettle. Breakfast was fabulous, plenty of choice and served in a lovely bright room. Only downside of the hotel is the bar area is not great, it’s in the reception and stopped serving at 10pm, just closed up and turned the lights out - we had friends arriving at 9.30 so had to get them a couple of drinks in ready! Also no nightcap once back from an evening out. Additionally there is no restaurant so you cannot have an evening meal here. The location was good, tram stops right by the hotel so easy to navigate around beautiful Prague.

“Nice location, quiet hotel”

The hotel itself is at a nice location, quiet still easy to reach. It is not a big hotel, felt comfortable that at breakfast or in public places only some people were around. The hotel itself is at a nice location, quiet still easy to reach. It is not a big hotel, felt comfortable that at breakfast or in public places only some people were around. However I had a feeling, that some things did not meet the five star standard. Eg. Shutter at window was not properly working, it got stuck several times. There was no conditioner and body lotion which was an unpleasant surprise. It was impossible to find a good 220 voltage connector next to our bed to charge the phone ( there was one in an unreachable place but it was occupied by lamps’ cord and when you switched off the light it did not charge any more). So bits and pieces, which I wouldn’t care if it was not a five star hotel. However breakfast was good, nice variety of egg dishes and warm and cold choices. Although no lactose free sweet bakery despite we asked when reserving the room. We enjoyed the possibility of having coffee or tea and water in our room which was included in the price. It was convenient that it had a garage although during weekend you can park on street too, not far away from the hotel for no extra charge.
