“Amazing”
We loved this hotel. The view from room 110 was amazing. The staff was very friendly. The food was very tasty. The spa was very comforting for the trip and we liked that it was not too crowded. You gave us a super comfortable and happy stay. Thank you very much <3

A new job opportunity in Annecy came my way, and of course, my new employer wanted to meet me face-to-face. But with us living in Provence (a solid 4-hour drive away), we decided to turn this trip into a little getaway. So, we booked a few nights at Hotel Les Tresoms, just to give it another go. Now, let me give you some context. I've booked this hotel multiple times for my clients without any hiccups, but during my last stay, I encountered a few minor glitches. It was why I only gave them a 4-star review instead of the 5 I felt they deserved. The property itself is stunning, with incredible views, so I thought it was worth giving them a second chance to earn that perfect score. Booking directly through the hotel website was a bit of a navigation nightmare, but we managed to secure a Tradition Room with a forest view at a decent rate. Tip: Always book directly with the hotel (via their website or email) if you want better prices than what you'd find on booking engines. I also pre-booked a spa visit via email, and to their credit, they replied quickly to confirm. The hotel sits perched above Annecy, offering sweeping views of the lake, surrounded by lush greenery. Despite being in a serene, wooded area, it’s just a stone’s throw away from the basilica, the Museum of Film Animation, and the nearby Marquisats Beach. After a long, exhausting drive, we arrived at the hotel only to discover that parking is no longer complimentary and there’s now a barrier to enter the grounds. Not wanting to fork out for parking, we left our car just outside. As always, though, the reception was warm and welcoming, with friendly staff ready to greet us. Just like last time, we got upgraded to the same room we had during our previous stay. And let me tell you—this room was pristine! Clean, functional, with a small balcony and a large window framing the picturesque view of Lake Annecy. The bed was comfortable, and we slept like babies. However, the bathroom wasn't perfect. The bathtub jets were temperamental at best, and whenever we used the shower, we had to aim it at the wall to avoid flooding the bathroom floor. Minor issues, but still something that could use attention. Now, let’s talk about the spa. It’s still lovely, though it’s starting to show its age. This time, the spa was more crowded than before, and there were not enough changing rooms to accommodate everyone. I also noticed there’s still no signage around the pool area, which led to a little slip-up by a fellow guest. It wasn’t serious, but the hotel should really invest in some better signage to avoid accidents in the future. Breakfast? Still not worth it. But since we were too lazy to venture out early, we opted for it anyway. The breakfast staff was lovely, though, and that made it a bit more bearable. Since it was fall, the outdoor pool was closed so we weren't able to try it just like last time. We also didn’t get a chance to dine at their restaurant or use the bar during this visit. In conclusion, this stay was much better than the last, but I still can’t quite bring myself to rate it a 5-star experience. That said, it’s definitely worth recommending for anyone visiting the area, and I’d stay here again if the opportunity arises. The charm of the place, combined with those unbeatable lake views, makes it hard to resist.
