“Stylish hotel in a central location with friendly helpful staff.”
We stayed 2 nights at the hotel. Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, giving us tips on restaurants and events on in the city. Spoke excellent English. Hotel is very central and easy to navigate. Breakfast was continental with good selection.

After a day’s cycling you want a nice hotel, in a good location with good sized rooms and bathrooms. The Hotel Imperator has all of these together with very helpful staff. Located in central Bezier the hotel is close to good food and a large square. It is a popular part of town. Our room was on the second floor overlooking the street, and it has an elevator. It was large with a good sized bathroom, but strangely the toilet was in a small separate space. Good if someone is in the bathroom and someone else needs the toilet. The shower is over the bathtub and strangely doesn’t have a shower curtain. It is impossible not to have water on the floor unless you kneel down in the bath. Not the most comfortable way to shower. Breakfast consists of a small selection of cereal with plenty of fruit, yoghurts, pastries and meat and cheese. Orange or apple juice was available as well as coffee and teas. The bed was firm but comfortable and the air conditioning worked well.

“Not perfect but large thumbs up”

Very nice hotel with the following negatives - No room safe and an actual toilet (separate from the bathroom) which measured 97cm x 80cm. (Awkward if you are over 1.5m tall) Positives though did indeed outweigh the negatives - very smart hotel which is close to the main cultural/socializing centre (5 minutes walk away). The staff is absolutely spot on with friendliness and efficiency and the establishment as a whole is very clean with nice rooms. This hotel is decent value for money all things considered and worth a stay !! Well done.

Excellent central location, well and tastefully modernised hotel. All areas clean and smart. Reception staff welcoming and friendly. Room was quite spacious, although separate toilet in the room was very small indeed. A fat person would struggle to get in and out. The major downside with this hotel is that the room doors are large and heavy, and people let them slam closed rather than closing them quietly. Also as they require two turns of the key to lock and unlock, this further loud added metallic sound transmits and echoes through all the walls. The person who designed this should book in and see if they can get an undisturbed night’s sleep. It would also help if on both sides of each room door, there was a multi-lingual notice asking people to close their door quietly. Because of the amount of noise, I have rated this hotel as only average; otherwise I would have rated it very good.
