“The Best Ibis Stay Experience”
The best stay I have experienced in an Ibis hotel. The rooms and shared areas are in perfect condition. The evening meal menu is exceptional and the staff are friendly and extremely responsive. The only negative was some noise from the immediate area through teenagers using mopeds

“Nice Hotel”
The hotel is in a good location. Very near to the centre. The room extremely clean and the hotel in general. The staff very friendly. We could have our breakfast outide. There is a huge place outside to sit enjoy a drink or a meal. As we we’re coming to town we saw lots of rubbish in several parts… more

But the hotel was a great choice.

“Basic, modern, clean, budget but not good value for money at 109 euros per night.”
This hotel is basic and the room was small but clean and tidy. The staff were helpful, polite and spoke good English. This hotel is basic and the room was small but clean and tidy. The staff were helpful, polite and spoke good English. It is located in the Business district of Marseille where all of the buildings look exactly the same, from office blocks to hotels to car parks. The hotel had a bar/dining/terrace which was on the walk way. It was close to a boutique shopping centre with a food court which we walked through but didnt use. The number of vagrants and beggars in the area made us feel uncomfortable. It is impossible to stop in your car outside so prebooking car parking is a necessity, but it did work well. Although the Pope did not stay at this hotel he did cause us some travelling difficulties around the town and he caused the Cathedral to be closed for security. (we wished they had put the closed sign at the bottom of the 174 steps not at the entrance to the Cathedral).
