First time in Paris and this hotel was wonderful! Beautiful scent as you enter, very warm and welcoming. The decor is fantastic! So many pros for this hotel and a few things to take note of. Very much worthy of 5 stars and it looks as great as the pictures. PROS- the bedding is incredibly soft with lots of pillows, the rooms are very warm (in winter), the bathroom is exquisite with a rainfall showerhead, fantastic hot shower, soft towels, lovely helpful staff, juliet balcony and all decor is truly stunning!! Also fantastic location for moulin rouge, montmartre, sacre coeur, pigalle and close to two metro lines to get to everywhere else! Room has all you need (hairdryer, TV, dressing table, lamps, coat hooks, wardrobe, extra pillows) and the hotel offers teas/coffees/biscuits and breakfast. There are lots of breakfast/brunch places within a 10min walk if you prefer, quieter places are located in south pigalle (where the locals go) and if you need somewhere close by PINK MAMA (end of the street) was amazing for drinks and food (although not very traditional). TAKE NOTE OF- tea and coffee is not in the room and instead in the lobby (but if you dont want to carry to your room you can drink in the beautiful lobby/bar), the rooms are incredibly small (everywhere in Paris), only provide shampoo and bodywash (could do with conditioner!), set on a side street of Pigalle (red light area). WHAT IS IT CLOSE TO- Its basically in the centre of Paris and by 2 metro lines so it is easy to get everywhere! But on foot, about 3mins from Moulin Rouge, 8mins from Montmartre (shops, food, the love wall, dotto train), 14mins from sacre coeur, 20mins to palais garnier (personally the best thing I saw in Paris!) WARNING- This cannot be helped by the hotel but not all room locations are alike which could ruin your experience. The metro runs under the hotel and you'll feel a slight rumble (depending on your room). I was upgraded to a bigger room that looked out onto the street and the bar on the corner. Unfortunately this ruined my first night as I didn't get any sleep because they were open/partying until 5am. I've lived in lively cities before but this was too much for me! Probably only fine if you're going to be in the bar with them! The hotel moved us for the rest of the stay, back to our original room, which was amazing! It was located on 6th floor at the back of the hotel. I didn't mind that it was smaller because the view was of the city and it was SO QUIET. Perfect. Its incredible the difference in the same hotel. Thank you for a memorable and wonderful stay :)

“Thank you for making our trip memorable, Camille!”
We loved everything about the suite! I highly recommend Artemisia Montmartre for its cozy rooms, friendly staff, serene atmosphere and customer service. We also loved the convenient location close to major attractions. A big thumbs up!

The area of the hotel is okay, a little rough but nothing major, and is right by the moulin rouge. The staff at the hotel were absolutely brilliant, they were so helpful and very welcoming and friendly.

My stay at the Artemisia Hotel was pleasant, but there were a few drawbacks. The rooms were clean and nicely kept, the bed very comfortable. The advertised "bar" turned out to be the receptionist preparing drinks, and when I requested help with a dinner reservation prior to arrival, it never materialized. There seems to be high staff turnover, as I stayed for six nights and only saw the same receptionist once. The rooms are small and would benefit from a mini-bar or refrigerator. While our balcony had a stunning view of Sacré-Cœur, it lacked furniture. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Pigalle at the foot of Montmartre—but it did get quite noisy at night. For the price, I feel the value wasn't ideal, particularly with the underwhelming breakfast and bar situation. I'd consider staying elsewhere next time for a better experience.
