“Paris hotel in great location!”
The location was perfect for us! We were near the subway and the neighborhood had a vacation feel to it because of the canal. The staff were awesome and the breakfast service was very good. We did check in each morning to let them know which room we were from. Food was very good!

Catch the train here rather than a taxi, we found taxi very stressful with traffic chaos during rush hour although hotel only 18km from the airport. Catch the train here rather than a taxi, we found taxi very stressful with traffic chaos during rush hour although hotel only 18km from the airport. Hotel in a lovely residential area 15min metro ride to the city centre, €2 pp per journey, nearest Metro Stn is Riquet, 5 mins walk away from hotel. Lovely family room with balcony on 6th floor for our family of 3 (see pics) and great breakfast. Special mention to Ibrahim on reception who went the extra mile to find us an Indian restaurant that was open on Monday night, unfortunately his female colleague hadn’t been quite as helpful … 🙄 Question to previous reviewer, you mentioned there was a good Indian nearby .. why didn’t you name it ?! 🤯 Anyway I suspect it was ‘koh e noor’ which was a 15mins walk away, highly recommended! Although no alcohol licence 😤 Anyway we had a great short break in Paris and we will return to this hotel in the future.

The hotel staff was incredibly accommodating, making the experience even better. Breakfast had plenty of vegetarian options, which was a plus. For added convenience, there’s an Indian restaurant, a shisha lounge, and Carrefour just a five-minute walk away. Overall, the location was fantastic and made for a great stay!

The staff at the reception are very kind and easy to communicate with (I am from the UK). Any requests I had were met immediately and the people working there were so kind. Conclusion: Usually Holiday Inn Express is just a standard hotel, but I was really surprised about Holiday Inn Express Canal de la Villette. Everything was perfect: the staff in the reception, location, the room and the breakfast. I will come back for sure. Review: I took the RER train from Charles de Gualle airport to Gare de Nor and then it is 20 min walk from the train station. Bolt and Uber is available too. I arrived early to the hotel, but I got my room right away. The staff in the check-in was really helpful and kind. The hotel is located on the river in a cozy neighborhood with a lot of restaurants. Not a lot of tourists in this neighborhood, which I really enjoyed - away from the fuzz downtown. The metro is only 5 min away, so you can easily get to the different attractions. The room was newly renovated and it was clean. The room was bigger than a traditional hotel room in Paris. The wi-fi was fast and easy to connect to, I had a view at the river from my room, which I enjoyed. Compared to many other Holiday Inn Express hotels the breakfast was amazing - the was lot of diffrent kind of food and quality was really good. Usually I do not eat breakfast at Holiday Inn Express because the quality is really bad.
