“Nice stay”
I liked the stay at this hotel: Very good location in addition to friendly and helpful staff. The big advantage of this hotel is its affordable price compared with other hotels of the same category in Paris.

“Run-down hotel in the 17e, not recommended”
I stayed here for 3 nights on business. My company booked it for me, and actually apologized to me later. Pluses 1. Fast, free wifi 2. Good location in the 17e near shops and restaurants 3. Front desk staff is very kind Minuses 1. Breakfast is not included, and definitely not worth the fee (just bread, croissant, jam, butter, coffee, carton orange juice) 2. Not very well kept or clean. I took an extra blanket from the shelf, and a huge beetle crawled out of it. Ugh. My door had a weird hole drilled into it that acted like a PEEPHOLE, which a previous occupant had covered with packing tape for privacy! 3. Ripped, stained carpeting and moldy shower curtain 4. No lift, if that matters to you 5. The hall lights up the spiral stairs don't work. The hallway lights on the floors don't work. As a woman traveling alone, and as someone who did not want to plummet down 3 flights of stairs in the dark, I felt very unsafe. 6. There is an older man, I am guessing the owner, who lives in the room where breakfast is served. He is very, VERY loud, and treats the breakfast room and lobby as his personal living room. It's very off-putting. He was talking to the front desk staff in a tone so loud that I thought they were fighting. I felt very sorry for the front desk staff, who were very nice. I do not recommend this hotel at all. It felt unclean and unsafe.
