Hotel Europe Saint Severin is a gem of a hotel! When traveling in Paris, location location location are the top three considerations, and this property does NOT disappoint! My group included multiple generations which meant different levels of energy and a wide range of stamina. Our location made it easy for coordinating rest time (for those who needed it!) with fun neighborhood walks through the shops and restaurants. Notre Dame is around the corner and Rue de la Huchette bustles with activity. You can be first at Shakespeare and Company bookshop, too! Before our trip, I enjoyed helpful Q/A with the desk staff and appreciated that they remembered the online conversation with me when I was checking in in person. Throughout the trip, the desk staff helped me with logistics... not to mention a recommendation for an off-the-path wonderful pastry shop. Be sure to have breakfast at the hotel. You will be greeted by lovely Ms Shafia who buzzes around non-stop to keep the food stocked up, to make custom fancy coffee drinks, and to refresh the seating as guests come and go. A small-ish elevator and thin walls between the rooms are negligible when offset by the care provided by the housekeeping staff - everything was sparkly clean and proper! Don't miss out on this treasure!

“Charming historic hotel in perfect location!”

We loved our one night stay in Paris on route to Spain and wish it was longer. Closer Metro and Notre-Dame. Our room was lovely with great street view and comfy bed! Would definitely return and recommend

I recently stayed at this charming hotel and loved its authentic Parisian character. The room featured beautiful exposed wooden beams, rustic brick walls, and a cozy attic-style design. The highlight was the large window offering a classic view of Parisian rooftops. While the space was small with sloped ceilings, it felt warm and inviting, thanks to the soft lighting and comfortable bed. The bathroom was modern and well-lit, providing a nice contrast to the rustic bedroom. Perfect for a romantic getaway or solo stay, but keep in mind the limited space and storage. A lovely experience overall!

“Nice atmosphere”

The lobby is clearly outdated and the rooms also depending of your taste (see photo). Bathroom is ok and there is free tea and a mini bar. The area is great near subway and paris highlights. It is probably the most touristy place in paris as well.
