“Manifique Boutique Hotel”
We chose to return to this lovely boutique gem a year later a second time and it did not disappoint. The location is so convenient to the metro stations and walking distance to some of the sites. We chose to return to this lovely boutique gem a year later a second time and it did not disappoint. The location is so convenient to the metro stations and walking distance to some of the sites. Welcomed with a friendly note and boxes of delicious macarons. Reserved the same room with the huge terrace, unfortunately unable to enjoy due to the weather. They had updated it with beautiful new patio furniture and even decorated with live plants. A pleasure to see green outdoor plants in December! We did not have the time to utilize the wonderful spa area this time, but it would’ve been a nice way to unwind. Upon our early am departure the pleasant desk clerk thanked us repeatedly for our business and gave us a cute gift bag of pens and gourmet chocolates.

“Mice”
When we arrived they checked us in and charged 400.00 deposit. The room was prepaid. It took three hours to get our room. We paid an additional 78.00 when checking out- that we expected. We had late night drinks and appetizers. The food was delicious until I saw a mouse. Apparently the waitress saw it as well because she screamed shortly afterwards Definitely not 4 stars! I expect better from a small boutique hotel.

- Satisfactory hotel - we had asked for an early check in and when we got there it was not only not available, it was late. - we asked for separate beds because it was my daughter and I, and we got the queen bed with a split so after pulling them apart our bed was smaller than a single. Very small. - the pillows were lumpy and not nice. - breakfast was good; lots of selection. - proximity to most things was good. You can walk to the Opera House and to Lafayette for shopping. - Ubers were good. - shower and overall bathroom was good

A shame and would recommend skipping this hotel and heading straight to Hotel Bedford where we went for our second night. Old wold charm, beautiful grandiose building, friendly and welcoming staff. Better pricing and room twice the size!!!
