We have just returned from a three night stay at NH Paris Opera Faubourg, where we celebrated our first wedding anniversary. We love staying in Opera and the 9th Arr. and NH Opera is the perfect base to explore this area of Paris. You are within steps of Le Peletier metro, some fantastic bistros/bakeries/shops etc. The hotel is currently undergoing a renovation, which didn't disrupt our stay. We didn't notice anything particularly other than some scaffolding out front. We stayed in a superior double with balcony which was still in the old style, but fairly decent size for a Paris hotel room. The bed was incredibly comfortable, we had brilliant sleep whilst there! The linen was clean and soft. The bathroom was functional, the shower isn't too powerful, but the temperature was fine. Little note to travellers, the main lift was still out of action when we stayed, so you either had to use the staff lift, or like us, take the stairs. The staff, however, were more than happy to help with luggage. The staff here are wonderful! They knew it was our anniversary and so made a special effort to add a couple of extra touches to our room - greatly appreciated! I would definitely recommend this hotel if you like this area of Paris. Its a great base to explore the city, not too far from Gare du Nord, Galeries Lafayette, great metro links, great area! We never felt worried walking around day or night. We are currently planning our next trip back to Paris and we look forward to returning here and seeing the updated rooms!

“Always welcoming”

The NH is a welcomed chain in Paris. For years they were not present and last year they got 3 hotels. This one was a Best Western and it started its renovation so it is not yet an NH. What it is though is the nice service from the front desk trying to make the guest at home although the hotel still needs to become an NH. So very well done. We appreciate it so much. We stayed twice this year and hope to be back to the opening of the renewed hotel after the summer 2025. The area is the best. We love the amount of restaurants with all the international flavors and being a stone away from the rest of Paris. Love it. Thanks. See you next time.

“A Great Stay near Opera”

A great little hotel a ten minute (or so) walk from Opera and about 15 minutes to Place Vendome. Service was friendly, professional, and efficient. The public spaces (especially the elevator) could use a refresh. The room was of a good size and comfortable.

“OK-ish, but below the NH average standard”

Nothing was bad, but nothing was too good either. Everything was OK, but nothing out of the ordinary.
