“Perfect Location - Next to the Papal Palace”
We chose to stay in the Privilege Room which had a huge balcony overlooking the Papal Palace. It was an exceptionally quiet room with fabulous views. We chose to stay in the Privilege Room which had a huge balcony overlooking the Papal Palace. It was an exceptionally quiet room with fabulous views. Hotel staff Jooan and Stephanie were so delightful in helping make our stay more special. Discounted parking is in the Parking Palais des Papes but make sure you follow the signs for the Hotel Mercure Avignon Palais De Papes once you have parked not signs for Hôtel Mercure Pont d'Avignon Centre - different hotel - and a lot more walking with suitcases along cobbled streets!

“Location, location, location”
You are nestled in the village and just about everything is just a few steps away. Restaurants, bistros, retail and all the history! Breakfast was great, pillows also! Staff was so courteous and extremely helpful! Another bonus ….water was readily available.

Hotel located in a Nice area & location but the Beds & pillows were very uncomfortable. The bed felt like you were sleeping on the floor; very hard. Room decor was nothing to brag about, simple and nothing special. Very few amenities; No conditioner, body lotion, wash cloths, etc. Breakfast was very good & plentiful. Dinner food & service was awful. Asked for hangers & had to call 2 times & a visit to the reception area before I got 3 extra hangers (I asked for 10). Safe is complicated to set up. We were very happy to leave this hotel. Would not recommend.
