“fantastic location”
Hotel is beside the Cathedral and train station.Centre of everything. We were in the main building facing the road outside and although we were there during the euros we heard very little with the windows closed. The bedroom has decent beds, a free safe and the towels are changed daily. All the roo… more
Hotel is beside the Cathedral and train station.Centre of everything. We were in the main building facing the road outside and although we were there during the euros we heard very little with the windows closed. The bedroom has decent beds, a free safe and the towels are changed daily. All the rooms appear to have been refurbished and although small were of a 3 star standard. The bathroom appeared newly decorated and the shower was good and it had a hairdrier. Was apprehensive before going due to some reviews think they must have been in a different hotel . All our group were satisfied with the standard of this hotel Only criticsm was the breakfast which had poor choice and quality.

If you are looking for a cheap and cheerful hotel that boasts one of the best locations this one is ideal. It is a five second walk to the cathedral and walking distance to everywhere else in Cologne! The room its self was clean, average size and comfortable. Where this hotel let us down was the walls and doors being paper thin and the reception and hall ways smelling like smoke constantly. Throughout the night and into the early hours you could hear people coming up and down the stairs and it could get very noisy!
