On 23 January 2020, the new Balearic Law against Tourism Excesses entered into force, which prohibits all-inclusive deals with unlimited alcoholic beverages. Only a maximum of three alcoholic beverages per guest will be served during lunch and/or dinner.
We would also like to inform you of the following restrictions included in the law:
Practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests are strictly prohibited at hotels, apartments and holiday properties. These practices include climbing from one balcony or window to another and jumping from inappropriate places such as balconies into swimming pools (a practice widely known as ';balconing';). Guests breaking the law will be immediately banished from the property and may be fined, states the law and the corresponding municipal regulations. The hotel/apartment manager or property agent must order said guests to leave immediately, which may require assistance from the security forces.
Failure to comply with the prohibition of practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests will be considered a serious offence. In the Balearic Islands, serious offences are subject to a fine between 6,001 and 60,000 euros.

We had a nice large room with a view of the Rhine River. Very spacious and well appointed. The main lobby is very impressive looking, with several options for dining and a bar if you wish. We had a drink at the Lobby bar, which had a really nice atmosphere and great customer service. The hotel is well located, easy to walk to attractions, restaurants and the train location. Only negative was checking in and out took a little time. Could maybe use an additional staff member.

“Great stay!”
The room was very comfortable and clean and exceeded expectations. The staff was friendly and accommodating. There was a workout room that I planned to use, but the bed was so comfortable that I overslept! We don’t normally stay at high-end hotels and enjoyed the pampering.

“A brilliant hotel with the best views”
Amazing location, we stayed for NYE. I had an 11 and 12 year old with me and they enjoyed the hotel just as much as me. The breakfast buffet was vast and always well stocked. Amazing location, we stayed for NYE. I had an 11 and 12 year old with me and they enjoyed the hotel just as much as me. The breakfast buffet was vast and always well stocked. The hotel hosts lots of football teams and my brothers loved looking at all of the football memorabilia in the Spa. The room was spacious and modern. Everything was clean and the daily housekeeping was great too. The hotel on a whole was also very clean and modern. It's a short walk to the nearest train station or a slightly further one to the central station, making it a good location for exploring. I had no significant issues or concerns my entire stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

We are spoilt by Chinese hotels that have larger rooms with modern equipment for a quarter of the price. If you are used to that standard, Hyatt in Cologne seems to be 20 years in the past. Staff is ok. Breakfast is outstanding.
