My second time to visit the Hotel Indigo, and it will hopefully not be my last. A friendly welcome, as always, and reception staff gave good advice about negotiating the public transport system. My room was spacious, with a large bathroom, and a small balcony overlooking the street. Bed was comfortable, and I loved the quirky designs and funky pop art. Unfortunately, the dining room is limited to breakfast and some snacks, but this is a shame, because the breakfast is superb. Massive buffet of meats, cheeses, fresh fruit, pastries etc, and a cooked breakfast of eggs and bacon was beautifully done, and served promptly. Can't praise the hotel or the staff enough.

We stayed here for four nights and found that the hotel met all our needs: Easy to get to from Tram/subway. The hotel area had restaurants, food outlets and a supermarket within easy walking distance. We tried the Greek restaurant opposite the hotel, and the Himmel &AHD for more traditional food, we also visited Cafe Florine for a wine and beer. All were reasonably prices with friendly staff and good food. Our room - the room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was clean and spacious with the following: Coffee machine/kettle, Iron, iron board, hairdryer, fridge, dressing gowns, toiletries in the bathroom. (Body wash, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion) Breakfast - Excellent breakfast choices, with the usual continental offerings including omelettes, fried eggs, bacon to order. All food items were of a decent quality and tasty. Staff - we found every member of staff to be friendly and helpful. They all worked very hard, including the cleaners, receptionists and the staff during breakfast service. Bar - the bar closed at 10.30pm and on one night it was completely shut. You can purchase a beer/soft drinks from the fridge by the reception. The garden area was quiet and peaceful and it was nice to have a drink out there ( when open) as we left there was some construction work beginning on the windows so prepare for some. noise if you are going this week All in all we had a pleasant stay in Dusseldorf A

We stayed here with family to assist with forthcoming relocation to Dusseldorf. Although I had some issues with the booking on line prior to the trip ,the accommodation and check in have all gone well. The breakfast is typical European, although an order for fried eggs, or an omelette is done without any issues or cost. The room, very comfortable,nice with the heated bathroom floor whilst it’s snowing outside. Bed huge and very comfortable. Nice biscuits with your compliments teas, coffees etc.area quit. We slept with the window cracked open, no street noise.
