My stay at the Avani Museum Quarter Amsterdam Hotel was absolutely fantastic. I had booked a Junior Suite and what I got was more than I could have ever dreamed of. The room was on the top floor, and what an experience! As soon as you enter the room, you are blown away by the view of the city, the canals and, in the evening, the beautifully lit skyline of Amsterdam. It was breathtaking and I am glad I took the time to enjoy this view despite my busy schedule. The location is great: quietly situated along the canals and yet a short walk from the major museums such as the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum. In addition, the hotel is easily accessible by public transport thanks to a metro stop nearby, which was very convenient. (PS the metro system is clean and punctual, I never felt uncomfortable or unsafe) There are also several restaurants within walking distance. The room itself was spacious, as I like it, with a sitting/work area, stylish and spotless, perfect for a combined city/business trip. I immediately felt at home. The service was also great – the staff were friendly and attentive. And the breakfast? Delicious and extensive, with something for everyone. In short, I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to experience Amsterdam in a comfortable and stylish way!

We first arrived at the hotel and we were welcomed by the staff with smiles and they were very friendly and helpful with everything from checking in to the check out. Our stay was for 12 days in panoramic room stunning view of the entire city and the canal. Words can’t express how beautiful it was. There was a day when we were cold and we contacted the staff and they right away gave us extra heater. Also, I want to thank the room service people, every day we wake up late and ask them to clean they do even when they are almost done with their shift. The hotel is huge and very spacious. I recommend you take the breakfast with your booking. You will enjoy it. I want to extend my thanks to all the people that worked at the breakfast they are amazing people and very kind. You guys made our stay a blessed one and made us feel at home. Thank you. Location, if you want quiet, safe and right in front of the canal it’s your area. I loved the location. It’s walking distance to everything. And if you don’t like to walk you have the underground train 6 min walk from the hotel as well as the tram. Again I would to like to thank each and everyone who works at this hotel if I can remember all your name I would’ve thank each and everyone of your by your names.

We stayed here for 3 nights recently. We had never been to Amsterdam before and spent a lot of time prior to our trip researching hotels, neighbourhoods etc. We chose this hotel due to its location near the quiet museum quarter and the huge windows with canal views. It also has bigger rooms than most other places we looked at. On arrival we were immediately impressed, the hotel is in an excellent spot just a short walk from the bus stop and the lobby was very welcoming. Check in was friendly and quick and we got a room on the 7th floor. The room was every bit as good as it looks in the photos. The window is huge and has a lovely view. The bed is big and comfy, and everything was spotless. Nice bathroom, great shower, all kinds of toiletries..shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, hand cream, toothbrush set, vanity set, lipbalm, hairbrush, hairdryer etc. There’s also dressing gowns and slippers. There’s even a weighing scales and a yoga mat! The room has a small fridge, kettle, coffee machine and pods. They are Nespresso or Lor pods so you could bring your own. There’s a small couch and a nice chair too. The sockets have usb ports if you forget your adapters which we did. We were able to borrow some at reception though. We also got more teabags one night from the receptionist when we arrived in and remembered we had none left! There a self service shop downstairs where you buy all kinds of snacks and drinks. It’s a little pricey but great if you’re stuck. There’s an excellent Spar just down the street for all your essentials anyway. Try the toasties! The hotel is located near the museums and the bus, tram and metro are all close by. We walked into the city centre one day and it was a lovely walk. Only one thing that could be improved and that’s the tv in the room, it’s fairly limited. Other than that we had a perfect stay.
