I recently stayed at Hotel Larende and had a fantastic experience. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and made me feel at home throughout my stay. The rooms were clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, with a very comfortable bed that ensured restful nights. The hotel’s location is excellent—close to the city center but tucked away in a quiet area, with easy access to public transportation, cafes, and several good restaurants. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, offering plenty of variety to start the day. The entire team was outstanding, from the front desk attendants to the kitchen staff and room cleaners—everyone was friendly and attentive. A special thanks to the manager, Murat, who went out of his way to ensure I felt valued and well cared for. I highly recommend Hotel Larende for its comfort, convenience, and service. I’ll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Amsterdam.

Excellent hotel! The room was small, but it was very functional. Make sure to get a room with a balcony. The breakfast was extremely good! The reception was extremely helpful! Excellent hotel! The room was small, but it was very functional. Make sure to get a room with a balcony. The breakfast was extremely good! The reception was extremely helpful! Keep in mind that it is a little bit of a walk to all of the sites in Amsterdam, so it’s not the best location if you are not willing to walk 15 or 20 minutes to see stuff. But there are several dining options nearby for lunch or dinner as well. Literally maybe 50 or 100 feet. It’s about a 20 minute walk to the Anne Frank house for example.

“Very happy to have stayed here.”
Lovely little hotel- comfy, quiet, clean. Room seemed to have been recently refurbished. Staff helpful. Breakfast was a welcome start to the day. You can walk into the city centre in about 20 minutes, or there is a tram stop just outside. Would definitely stay again.

“A bit too far out of the central areas”
A nice place with good continental breakfast. the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms at the front of the hotel are noisy but managed to moved to a great quiet one at the back of the hotel. A little far away from the main centrum so be prepared for a long walk. Pillows are hard.
