“perfect Amsterdam get away”

“Incredibly comfortable”
It was my first trip to Amsterdam and I was incredibly comfortable my entire stay. Staff were very approachable and Ezra at the desk had good recommendations for sightseeing as a first time visitor. Could’ve stayed in the bed all day and I’m definitely going to miss the bathtub. Would love to hopef… more

Decent hotel, missing marks here and there. Front office team was friendly, yet lacked some anticipation; they stuck to answering what was asked than thinking further (example: at 06:35 I asked reception where the restaurant for breakfast was at and they pointed me into the direction (ps a true luxury hotel takes you there by the way); when I can back after finding the restaurant closed to ask when it opens, the lady said “yes, it only opens at 7”). Actually I find 7am late to open, but maybe that’s me. Then the breakfast restaurant itself: service is too formal in my opinion. Not an issue, but just a note. The spread of the buffet is quite mediocre, while the menu to order is also very limited. I would certainly also have expected more Asian, particularly Japanese, offering, especially if you have 2 high end Japanese restaurants in the hotel and being a Japanese chain. A very basic buffet all in all.
