“Flight Crew Can't Be Wrong!”
Excellent room with plenty of space, very comfortable beds and good amenities. Lovely bathroom with plenty of complimentary toiletries. Excellent room with plenty of space, very comfortable beds and good amenities. Lovely bathroom with plenty of complimentary toiletries. Breakfast was marvellous, with lots of choices but the machine coffee was a bit disappointing. The King William III bar is really good, normal hotel prices for drinks and pretty good menu. Sebastiaan the bartender was really friendly and efficient and he entertained us with some wonderful tales of a local gangster! It is only a short walk from the hotel to the Metro station with a direct line to Centraal Station and there is a small but varied shopping centre nearby with numerous specialty stalls in the square. The hotel was regularly patronised by flight crew during our 4 nights here, so that's a pretty good sign as well!! Highly recommended.

“Nice hotel with grest staff in a quiet area close to the city centre”
For the 2nd time we stayed at the NH Amsterdam Noord, very convenient when participating in the Louis Vinkloop nearby. Easy access, only a short walk from the subway, only a few minutes. For the 2nd time we stayed at the NH Amsterdam Noord, very convenient when participating in the Louis Vinkloop nearby. Easy access, only a short walk from the subway, only a few minutes. We arrived early and got to check in. Lovely! Quick and easy! Our room was located in the 3rd floor. The room is nice.. clean and the bed is comfy. You get a fridge (grocery store 2 min.walk), a water boiler with coffee and tea. We did not try the breakfast. Late check out is pricey, BUT the lovely Priya (hopefully this is correct spelled) allowed us 30 min late check out FOR FREE and those 30 min was exactly what we needed before departing back to Norway. Because of this gesture we will use the hotel again if we ever decide to run the Louis Vinkloop. If you want a nice hotel outside the very busy Amsterdam city centre with lovely staff, we recommend this hotel. The area is much more quiet and it is only a few stops with the metro to the city centre anyway.

“Good affordable hotel in okay location”
The rooms are spacious (I had a double bed in a superior room). Bed was comfortable and bathrooms were lovely. However some rooms have mechanical noise from outside which disturbed my sleep. The rooms are spacious (I had a double bed in a superior room). Bed was comfortable and bathrooms were lovely. However some rooms have mechanical noise from outside which disturbed my sleep. However the staff was able to move me to a quiet room the following night. I was originally in room 264 which was unbearable. The outside machine (air conditioning) turned on every 15 minutes and caused a loud humming noise and caused the whole room to vibrate. The staff were helpful however and gave me ear plugs. However switching rooms was the solution for me. The location is fine. They offer a free shuttle service to and from the ferry terminal which you can call on WhatsApp. There is a free ferry to get you to the central station. Breakfast options were great. If you opt to skip room service, you get a daily voucher for a free drink at the bar or restaurant.
