“Absolutely delighted - clean and warm in perfect location. Never mind those awful reviews.”
We were nervous travelling to the Orange Tulip hotel after reading those awful reviews. We were very pleasantly surprised by the clean beds, very clean bathroom, hot radiator (it was freezing cold outside), hot water in the shower. Shampoo & towels supplied. Not it's not 5 star but for that price… more
We were nervous travelling to the Orange Tulip hotel after reading those awful reviews. We were very pleasantly surprised by the clean beds, very clean bathroom, hot radiator (it was freezing cold outside), hot water in the shower. Shampoo & towels supplied. Not it's not 5 star but for that price in that fantastic location, being so clean with towels etc provided we were delighted. We had a twin bed room. The beds are narrow. The space between the beds is the width of a locker. Totally fine. Yes, the stairs are steep - you get a great glutes workout - but every other place in Amsterdam has steep stairs so get over it. Guy in reception was perfectly polite and efficient, no faked up friend stuff which was just fine! Absolute recommend.

“Great little hotel”
Ignore the bad reviews this is a great little hotel in a prime location The room was spotless clean, comfortable bed decent shower The staff are helpful and allows us to check in an hour early They also have a secure bag storage room for before and after check in

“Perfect for a solo traveler”
Stayed here in a twin room that had bunkbeds. Room was tiny but really only slept in it so it was perfect, bed very comfy and clean and fresh linen.
