I will only ever stay here when I visit Amsterdam from here on out. The staff is so welcoming and helpful. They gave us great recommendations for restaurants, cafes, and activities around the city. We had booked the king suite, the room was so clean, the bed and pillows were super comfortable. Room was stocked with teas, coffees, and a Tony’s chocolate bar. Staff reminded us multiple times that if we needed more towels, teas, anything to feel free and grab from the storage near the front desk. We had complimentary coffee in the mornings made by the lovely staff. Cleaning is only available upon request, but the website clearly stated that so it was not an issue for us. The hotel is right across from Vondelpark and our room faced out towards the park, it was picturesque. Love the location and how quickly you can get around the city. Overall had an amazing experience and was so happy with the service. Thank you Sonder team!

“Comfortable business or leisure hotel within walking distance of the city centre”

The Sonder Park is an ideally located hotel near the Vondel Park and close to an upmarket shopping district. The Sonder Park is an ideally located hotel near the Vondel Park and close to an upmarket shopping district. It is easily accessed by the Number 2 Tram from Amsterdam Centraal and is only a short walk to local restaurants such as the Hard Rock Café and the upmarket Momo as well as an Irish pub. The room we were allocated wasn’t large but was comfortable and had a clean bathroom with a shower over the bath. The staff were particularly friendly and very helpful. The coffee and continental breakfast bar in the lounge was very handy and good value. The hotel was secure and quiet at night and if you needed a room clean, during the stay, this was free of charge. The room had a coffee machine, kettle, hair dryer and ironing board. The hotel foyer / lounge area was warm and comfortable with a large gas flame fire. We judge companies by how they react to problems and we were pleased that the staff done everything that they could to address a WiFi issue as quickly as possible. We highly recommend Sonder Park Hotel for a leisure or business trip to Amsterdam.

“Affordable hotel option in a beautiful area in Amsterdam”

We stayed at Park Place for 6 nights and booked the spacious double room which I believe is the second largest available option. Overall we had a decent stay. The rooms are very small, which we were prepared for since we read reviews beforehand, but the bathroom was definitely smaller than we thought based on the photos. It is an older building and you can tell from the general wear and tear, but it didn’t impact our stay. The beds are also VERY comfy. We absolutely loved the area, it was easy to access via street car and very walkable. Very close to museums and cafes. Super quiet at night. We would stay here again for the location alone. The staff were great, we were able to leave our bags and explore before our room was available. There is also complimentary coffee which is a bonus.

“Sonder Park House Stay”

Most of the Staff was good/polite and helpful except one Lady that made me lose my cool so i hated all the recepctions even the ones that are sweet haha... AC could've been working better, but its good for a few day stay. Best about the Hotel for me was the location.
