Review of sat 30.12.23: Room 206 Rotterdam Netherlands with a back garden view. In walking distance from hotel to Coolhaven train stop or tram stop no 8 which takes you to Beurs stop for a variety of shopping choices. Tram stop Blaak takes you to the Cube houses and Great Market hall with delicious eatery options. Euromast tramstop for exciting views from the tower. Wilhelminaplein tram or metro stop for the cruise port. The room was modern, and the bathroom with a soft rain shower head a delight, a heated rail, and a hairdryer. Rooms come with an aircon and hot water machine for coffee and a safe. Stein at reception was very helpful and friendly. Free Wi-Fi is available. We did not have the breakfast option. New years Eve was amazing on Erasmus Bridge with fireworks. All trains were free to use from 10 pm to 2am. Well organised and safe to use. Thank you in the Dutch language: Dank je wel

It is about time someone (aka me) wrote a recent review on my stay. This was a great stay. This is small hotel, all the staff super friendly especially both the gentleman on reception. I have seen reviews elsewhere complaining of the breakfast. Just a reminder that this is a 3* hotel and the breakfast is more than adequate to set you up for the day and has all the essentials. The room was spacious, very clean and modestly modern enough especially the bathroom which had lots of space to keep belongings. The small attention detail was nice - towels with the hotel name on, coffee cups with inspiring/funny messages, 2 plug points near the bed, clock in the breakfast room in keeping with the hotel’s link with the port/shipping industry. Note, the rooms have a fan (but they are in the process of installing air conditioning to all the rooms). Only suggestion I have is that the bathroom door in room 103 was a little squeaky (just needs WD40), pillow could be a little less lumpy (but they were more than happy to supply more pillows and still slept very well) and the drinks from the fridge by reception is on the expensive side but all minor points. Location is great. 10 mins walk from Euromast and a few minutes walk from Coolhaven Station, qs a little far from the Centraal Station to walk and even Blaak (where the markethall and cube houses are). All in all, I would definitely stay again. It was a pleasant, relaxing and quiet experience. It felt safe yet cosy. The hotel seemed a little quiet, despite being the weekend, I hope it picks up over the summer. Thanks for a lovely stay!

The hotel is in a lovely neighborhood: Delfshaven. It is well connected to the Metro and Tram. The staff members were amiable. I needed special assistance with baggage storage, and it was no problem, although the space in the hotel was minimal. When you entered the room and watched the garden terrace, you could not believe that it was the same building. It's so lovely and modern. The room appeared freshly refurbished. Parking in front of the hotel is expensive, but they recommended a solution within walking distance. The only disappointment was the breakfast. The passion for the rooms is completely missed in the breakfast room and buffet. It was no fun to be here, and next time, I will have an external breakfast.
