“Excellent for an early morning flight.”
We had an early flight out of Budapest and didn't want to do the drive from in the city to the airport in the wee morning hours. This hotel was perfect for our needs. They set out some breakfast at 3:30 for us and provided a taxi to the airport. We had a good dinner in their restaurant. They also h… more
We had an early flight out of Budapest and didn't want to do the drive from in the city to the airport in the wee morning hours. This hotel was perfect for our needs. They set out some breakfast at 3:30 for us and provided a taxi to the airport. We had a good dinner in their restaurant. They also had complimentary mulled wine, hot chocolate and sweets in the lobby.

Very nice, comfortable and clean hotel. Rooms were well equipped with a mini bar and espresso coffee maker. Bathroom was very nice. The hotel was very quiet. I could hear no planes. It is about 15 minutes from the airport. We got a balcony and it was nice to sit outside and relax after driving all day. The restaurant was excellent…….Dinner was great. An early light breakfast the next morning they had out had quite a few choices, much more than just a continental breakfast. There is a free “shuttle” from and to the airport. It is actually one of the yellow cabs. The hotel will pay for it and arrange a time for them to take you to the airport. You can get a yellow cab at any time at the airport and the hotel will pay for it. Lobby staff was nice enough (not overly friendly but polite). Only criticism is that the mini bar was not cold. Someone had turned off a switch to it on the wall above the desk (not sure why you would need a switch for it). This should be something the housekeeping crew should check, I feel, when cleaning the rooms or before guests check in to be sure it is on and cold. We just got beers in the bar. We did have to adjust the AC but the room cooled off in about an hour while we ate dinner.

Found this hotel very pleasant for a brief stay. Only downside was not having time to take advantage of all the facilities. Found this hotel very pleasant for a brief stay. Only downside was not having time to take advantage of all the facilities. On checking in we were able to book our hotel transfer for the next morning which was useful. The hotel is relatively small with a nice outdoor garden area and the wellness centre situated in a separate building through the garden area. The facilities looked good but didn’t have time to use them. The room was large and comfortable with a decent sized en-suite with bath. Although overlooking the outdoor patio area it was quiet and I had enjoyed a decent night’s sleep. The highlight of the stay was an excellent meal. I enjoyed a beef goulash starter and a lovely main of chuck steak confit along with Dreher Hungarian beer. The waitress, like all of the staff was friendly and attentive. The early bird breakfast was a little sparse but I had enough to get me going for our early flight. Check out was pleasant as was the 5-10 minute minibus transfer to the airport. If I visited Budapest again, I’d strongly consider staying here.

This Hotel did not disappoint. The provide free shuttle from the airport by way of taxi. The Reception staff kindly gave me an early check in at 12 noon. Room was spacious and with a well stocked mini-bar. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic. The beds were not that comnfortable because 2 single beds were joined to form a double bed and you can feel the partition in the center. The Hotel has an indoor pool and fitness centre. Breakfast was very good with great options.
