“Dinner at Samudra/Trident hotel restaurant”
We had dinner at the Samudra restaurant at the Trident hotel. Good choice of dishes and the food was very good . The service was done by Anand. He was efficient and generally very helpful and friendly. We would recommend it to anyone staying overnight at the Trident.

Positives: The room was comfortable and well maintained. It also afforded a view of the greenery into the central yard. Housekeeping was very prompt in tidying and the personal touch that seems unique to Trident/Oberoi brands felt great. Negatives: Breakfast service was a bit of a hit and miss timing wise. Waited 20 minutes for an omelette I ordered to get done (with one reminder), though I noticed other diners got their orders in under 5 minutes.

The Trident in Chennai is one of a kind. It’s not a chain hotel but it has all the advantages of those, plus the edge in terms of friendly staff and lots of lovely touches. Every member of staff has a smile and wants to know that you are ok or whether you need something. The executive chef was concerned about the food being too spicy for me. So tomorrow he’s making me something special. Trident will always be my first choice when staying in Chennai.

Service is amazing. Very friendly and smiling staff all around. You feel at home from the moment you check in. Well trained and high in customer delight Great experience in the club longue and special mention to Mr Adarsh for his Service and staff in the reception for their warmth

“Very good overall”
Akash and Ahana are excellent at serving us in the restaurant.Chef Arivazhagan made the best coconut chicken stew. Hotel is old but maintained well. Just some spots of and on.check in process is smooth. Storage of luggage done well. Garden well maintained.
