We booked this hotel with a bit of trepidation due to quite a few bad reviews and some good ones . We spent 9 days and were very pleasantly surprised. It’s an old style Bali hotel, so yes, there was a little bit of mildew in the bathroom, on the ceiling ! The beds were fine, pillows a little hard for my liking, bed linen and towels clean and changed daily . I have mobility issues and should have ordered a ground floor room when booking but forgot. I asked when we checked in but unfortunately one wasn’t immediately available. But in a couple of days they relocated me to a lovely ground floor garden room . The rooms come with tea and coffee making facility, soap and shampoo, fridge, and flat screen tv. The only minus I could find was a lack of power sockets for recharging phone etc. it would have been good to have one beside the bed, but it wasn’t a deal breaker. Breakfast was provided and very basic, eggs, toast, some Indo food, plenty of fresh fruit. But right outside the hotel on the beach path are a number of good restaurants and coffee shops. The new Icon centre is a 10 minute stroll away. Lots to see and do there but Aussie prices in most of the shops, certainly worth a look. The staff in the hotel are wonderful without exception. All very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again, for the price it’s really good value . Oh, and a lovely pool with lots of sun beds with or without shade, and the water temperature was just right !!!

Have stayed here twice (because of fabulous location) but feel sad to say it needs a total refurbishment. Beds in both stays very hard. First Room I was in had a leaking air con, staff left a towel on floor to soak up water however i slipped twice on this towel as in main entrance/exit to room. Ha… more

Have stayed here twice (because of fabulous location) but feel sad to say it needs a total refurbishment. Beds in both stays very hard. First Room I was in had a leaking air con, staff left a towel on floor to soak up water however i slipped twice on this towel as in main entrance/exit to room. Handymen came daily and it was finally sorted 2 days before i booked out. Second stay was another room which needed some TLC. Housekeeping staff were terrific and helpful. Bar & restaurant staff were very kind and cheerful. Breakfast was part of the package... food was a bit hit and miss but i was grateful to have it available to us as part of the deal. The gardens and pool are well cared for and lovely surrounds. The beautiful beach is right outside the hotel which is the main attraction for me. However it appears this is a hotel for training and there were trainees marching through at various times and at one stage there was an all day training camp/conference throughout the grounds. Was a bit noisy but no issue for me. Spoke with main reception staff a couple of times regarding issues but the vibe was that it is what it is and not a lot was going to be done about it. I note with interest that the price has gone up to stay here for 2025.

The location is great , other things not so , their are small small things that are missing in their property . I had read about some bathrooms having broken toilets and stinking but faced it first hand . Whoever decided to install AC at that place in Reno needs a medal , it tried its best but was not good , note if u r coming in hot season . The staff is excellent, full marks for it . Breakfast was totally ordinary, the bar is at a nice location , many things broken in need of repair. If you want to book some trips or fast boats turn left from exit gate and their is Pratama Bali tours at the end of the road ( will save you some money ). There are nice messages and warungs nearby . Good beach and nice bars and restaurants nearby . Check if u r willing to pay their fare when u can have so much nicer nearby after adding a little bit of. Would I come back again , no chance
