Amazing romantic villa decoration nased on the zodiac signs, amazing jacuzzi and pool inside the villa. Really peaceful and detail oriented with a great staff thst were friendly and service oriented. Simply amazing and what i needed to chill

“A hotel we return to -- in need of some TLC.”
We love Mahapala for its location and for the great staff, especially Kris, Ayu, and Rai, who are not only warm and friendly, but competent and good at their jobs. We also love the privacy and intimacy of Mahapala's individual villas, although they are now in need of an upgrade or renovation. Like… more
We love Mahapala for its location and for the great staff, especially Kris, Ayu, and Rai, who are not only warm and friendly, but competent and good at their jobs. We also love the privacy and intimacy of Mahapala's individual villas, although they are now in need of an upgrade or renovation. Like most places in Bali, the rooms are smelling moldy. One other note of interest -- we always looked forward to Mahapala's breakfasts, especially the pancakes, which were the best we'd ever had. For some reason the hotel decided to change the recipe and we were served pancakes that were almost inedible. Also the Bali kopi was literally not drinkable. They used to make great lattes in the morning. Whoever is making these decisions is taking away some of the best features of a hotel that we like to return to. Seeing the sweet spirit of Kris at the front desk is worth the visit.
