Excellent staff, always helpful and friendly, they can't do enough for you. Lovely surroundings and 2 warm pools. Ate a few times in the restaurant very nice food and cheap. Breakfast was good. We upgraded to a villa with private pool which was amazing and a very good price for what u got.would definitely recommend to others. Dewa and putu were very attentive and we had him for a driver for the day to take is to lots of sightseeing places. Only £30 and very knowledge about Bali. Monkeys 🐒 all around the hotel from tbe monkey sanctuary, this is great to see. Great location too.Thank you very much

We stayed here for 4 days. I booked it on the premise of other reviewers saying that monkeys do come across. Unfortunately not to where my room is located. They do come around near the pool area and perhaps my impression they seem to like a particular room’s balcony. I wish I had that room. It’s upstairs, with balcony facing the pool and wall fence shared with Monkey Forest. The only thing I wish for when I was at the pool, for staff NOT to take sling shots at the monkeys. Objective - to protect the patrons by keeping monkeys away but I personally liked the monkeys’ presence. They don’t harm you unless you disturb them. However, monkeys are known to steal things but not at the pool area. The room is clean and a good size. The bathroom is huge! Really really big! Unfortunately they can’t open the bathroom windows, so air was a bit stale when we entered on day 1. Breakfast was a good variety and selection of breads, fruits and hot foods. Only thing I would say is that the stations can run out of glasses or plates at times. So you need to wait a little. WIFI in the room is sketchy. I can only stand in a particular corner in the room for my internet to work. There was one afternoon I returned early to my room and couldn’t connect up. But I finally figured when I stand in the corner than it works. The hotel is located a 5mins walk to the Monkey Forest & roughly 15mins walk to Obud Palace and local markets; it’s surrounded by shops and restaurants. At the end of the hotel’s driveway is a convenient store- very handy! I also found my tour taxi driver near this convenient store looking for work. Honest man, his name is Dewai. Highly recommend him. All in all, it’s really good for a 3.5star establishment & reasonably priced. I would return. The staff are extremely friendly!

Stayed for 5 nights in July 2024. Stayed in a villa with a private pool. Arrived at 2pm but villa wasnt ready. Front desk staff need a bit more English training as communication was a bit hard. Had lunch in restaurant whilst waiting. Villa was very clean and well arranged with all amenities provided. Its a 5 minute uphill and stairs walk with your bags which can be hard. We had a lady help us but my bags were heavy so felt bad. Need to improve this service. Breakfast was supplied daily which was very good. Can get crowded in peak time and tables can be limited. Food was tasty and decent. Egg station crew were great. Location is excellent. 5 minute walk to Monkey Forest entrance and the main street has plenty of bars, shops, eateries and Ubud Temple is a 20min walk up the street. Plenty to see in the area and most is walking distance. You will get plenty of monkeys coming around your villa so make sure you close doors and dont leave things outside at all. Overall a great stay in an awesome lication. Staff are friendly just need a bit better language training for front desk staff. We would stay here again.

“Okay if you don't mind monkeys”

It's a decent enough hotel, but as it is literally opposite Ubud Monkey Forrest you do need to be very careful, which makes the stay a little bit harder to enjoy. You can't leave anything outside, don't leave balcony door open or they come in, can't enjoy a snack by the pool or they steal it, watch out walking around even with a smoothie! Very limited drinks menu to enjoy by the pool and breakfast offering whilst looks quite large is rather limited. The rooms and beds are very comfortable and pleasant, plus you're very close to all the lovely restaurants and spas, but there might be better options that offer the same, but without the monkey business :)

Central Ubud Hotel near Ubud shopping area and very near from Monkey Forest. They offer a multitude of rooms , suites and Villas. We booked a villa with a private pool. I send several emails for the hotel to explain my disability and my requirements. Their answer was vague ; otherwise I would have changed my reservation. I was surprised with the difficulty to reach our Villa with a lot of stairs and slopes which were a difficult task for an elderly with crutches. The receptionist could not help in any other room. Next morning, we explored other options and agreed to be downgraded to a simple room with fewer steps and nearer to the reception and restaurant. They refused to offer refund for the accommodation ; they reluctantly offered Dinner voucher and Spa voucher which I believe were much less than we deserve for 4 nights difference. The room was spacious with little patio. Furniture is very old and needs facelift. There was a big bathroom with toilet , stand shower , tub and two basins. Daily cleaning and shampoos were supplied. Unfortunately, there were facilities for the handicapped in any of the rooms. Wi Fi is weak and slow, gets better as you get nearer to the reception Breakfast was buffet , with mainly Indonesian dishes. The egg bar , cereals and fruits were acceptable for international guests. Staff were helpful , cheerful and smiling. There were a lot of insects especially mosquitos. Care from nearby monkeys to hide food and keep windows and doors closed. We tried dinner and lunch with limited options and not the best quality. Also, Spa staff were not up to the standards. Nearby shopping area offer a lot of choices , minimarkets , restaurants and Spas.
