Just returned from staying in this hotel with a group of 24 friends. We were looked after admirably by Elly on reception who helped tremendously in arranging many aspects of our trip, including booking restaurants for our large group, and local tourist info. The continental breakfast was good with a variety of choices. The hotel is a 4 minute walk from the gondola up to the slopes and 10 minute walk from the large cable car. There are numerous good restaurants within a 6 or 7 minute of the hotel. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to Couples, families and groups alike. Keep up the good work ! !

I stayed with two friends in a room for three for a skiing trip. The location, almost as close to the lift as you can get and a short walk to the main town, service, discount deals at restaurants and help from the owners and employees was outstanding. The room we had was functional, warm and clean and whilst it could be modernised, the value for money was excellent. Also they serve reasonably priced drinks (actually they were the cheapest we found in the town) and lovely cakes after skiing. All in all a perfect location for a skiing break with friends. The highlight were the great staff as they couldn’t do enough to make our stay enjoyable.

“Great value hotel well situated and nice people”
Hotel is conveniently placed for the ski lift 5 mins away. The staff are extremely nice and helpful and friendly and made every effort to welcome us even giving us beers when we arrived well after the bar had closed. Hotel is conveniently placed for the ski lift 5 mins away. The staff are extremely nice and helpful and friendly and made every effort to welcome us even giving us beers when we arrived well after the bar had closed. Rooms are spacious an great value, breakfast is nice definitely asking for the scrambled eggs. Definitely would stay here again great little family run Hotel thank you for looking after us :)

“Brilliant location exceptional service”
Three of us stayed, service was exceptional....including booking restaurants and even offering to stitch split ski pants!! ..Hotel itself located v close to ski lift. It is an old hotel looking a little tired but still highly recommend.

“It’s next to the river! ”
As you can see in the photos this hotel is right next to the river, which didn’t bother me but the rest of my group moaned about the noise. Ok it’s quite loud, a bit like air con you can’t turn off. As you can see in the photos this hotel is right next to the river, which didn’t bother me but the rest of my group moaned about the noise. Ok it’s quite loud, a bit like air con you can’t turn off. We stayed here on the TMB and the location is excellent, right on the route. The staff were helpful, the room was adequate. There was only a shower whereas I’d have appreciated a bath. They were happy to look after our bags during the day. Breakfast was fine. A good range of food and drinks available. All in all good value for the area. Especially if you like the sound of raging water all night.
