We had a lovely time even if my daughter it has been injured skiing and spend all the week in the room! All staff it has been great and very helpful and the owner super, super, super kind. We have been lucky to have assistance from them and the lovely family environment helps a lot.

The owner speaks a small amount of English and the manager is able to converse in English as well. A short walk to the ski lift (10 mins maximum). A fanatic shower - one of the best I've had in a hotel, and much appreciated after a day on the mountains. We will return.

Overall, a really great family run hotel. Very friendly staff and always helpful. The hotel and rooms are all beautifully appointed, very rustic and traditional according to the area. Breakfast area is a beautiful setting providing a very homey and cosy feel. (although note they dont have a kitchen, so they cant offer any hot options for breakfast). The only down side is there is no bar. After a days skiing its nice to sit with family or friends and have a drink in front of an open fire, unfortunately they dont have this. There is a small suitable area however when we asked they did inform us there isnt really a bar and in fact this area is cold and unmanned on an evening, so its not really an option. Nevertheless, the hotel is great and I would definitely recommend.

“OK for a short stay. It's a B&B, not a hotel”
Let's start with the obvious one. It is not a hotel, more like a family run B&B. To me the four star rating would reflect B&B rating, definitely not a four star hotel. Let's start with the obvious one. It is not a hotel, more like a family run B&B. To me the four star rating would reflect B&B rating, definitely not a four star hotel. I stayed in a deluxe room, which was quite spacious though with a strange layout. My friend had booked a standard room, and he did not have many praises about it. The layout of the room was three rooms. Main bedroom. Bathroom? with shower, wooden bathtub and a reading corner with a rocking chair. Second bathroom with toilet and sink and towel rack. The bathtub did not receive any hot water and was slightly tiled backwards so it never emptied fully. The shower was quite good. The towel rack never really worked properly during my stay. I did mention this to the staff and the solution was to turn up the heating in the room to 26 degrees. The noise isolation has room for improvement. I could hear people above playing music late at night. Finally, a lovely surprise one morning when the boot-heater in the garage had turned itself during the night. Nothing more pleasant than frozen ski boots in the morning. Now to the more positive aspects of the stay / place. The location is very good. Few minutes stroll to village centre. 10 minutes walk to the main lift. Off-street parking for five cars. Breakfast was excellent with good variety. Sleep quality in my room was good other than bit of music from the neighbor. I definitely want too return to La Thuile for the skiing. This place would not be in my top choices to stay, but given the shortage of accommodation it is not a bad choice.
