The hotel is located in an ideal spot for sightseeing in Bologna, with close proximity to landmarks, restaurants, and shops. The area is peaceful. The staff is very helpful, and the breakfasts are delicious. The rooms are clean, well-equipped, and soundproofed well from the corridor. Our stay included 4 nights in two rooms. Highly recommend.

“AMAZING! WONDERFUL!”

THIS HOTEL IS WONDERFUL! The location is excellent, few minutes walking to the Fountain of Neptune, market, galleries, shops, restaurants and wine shops/cafes. It’s super clean - housekeeping is on top of it. The breakfast buffet was awesome. Camilla was so kind in making our orders and they deliver to your room free of charge! It’s all included. The staff was all great. Shout out to Giulia at the front desk who helped with all our needs. We actually had a non urgent medical issue and did need to get medication. She arranged for a doctor to come to the hotel, she translated and helped us with the pharmacy. All is of those a total of 115 euro including the prescription. She and the entire front desk staff were awesome. Don’t be lured by places like the Corona Hotel that is double the price and double the attitude. The room is a large space, large bed and very good lighting in the bathroom and the water pressure in the shower was the best we’ve had in our two weeks of travel. They provide robes, slippers and the mini bar in the fridge is beyond reasonable, same prices at the convenient stores nearby. I really can’t say enough what a great hotel this was.

This charming small-medium sized boutique hotel is just steps from Piazza Maggiori yet accessible by taxi. Tourist attractions, shopping and some of the best restaurants are close by. A large well-appointed, cozy lobby area with snacks, wine and espresso any time. Rooms are roomy, very clean, airconditioned and very comfortable. Everything feels and smells newly renovated. Service by the entire staff are above and beyond expectations. In fact, their attention to details is quite noticeable. Breakfast, included, was amazing. The most complete spread featuring all local delicacies. Professional servers will prepare fresh espresso or Mimosas for you. This place is a must if visiting Bologna.

A quirky but nice hotel in a perfect location for piazza Maggiore and all the local restaurants. My wife and I shared an eaves bedroom, large and though without a view except the sky, was quiet and very comfortable. Huge bed: the most comfortable I’ve slept in in Italy, and in the bathroom an excellent walk in shower, both powerful and hot! A walk in clothes cupboard with safe was very good. Good to have a Fridge in the room where you can buy goodies inside it or just store your water and milk. Breakfasts were very varied with everything you needed and all tasted great.Service was also very good: they couldn’t do enough for you so gold star for that, Moans: very few. I don’t like cardboard cups in a bedroom though they’re very eco (burns your fingers!) and the kettle and tea/coffee etc under the eaves so you had to be careful to not bump your head - I did a few times. Room spotless and kept clean by the cleaners. The special deal with altpico restaurant next door was very good value and excellent food: recommended. Overall a good recommendation for a great city stay.
