My family & I needed somewhere to shower & freshen up before exploring the city of Venice after a sweaty 10-hour train ride. Very kind and understanding staff that doesn’t make you feel like a fool for being a foreigner. With regard to amenities, the hotel has a powerful A/C unit in every room, free, fast Wi-Fi, and is very close to the train station & within a couple minutes from the center of the city by foot. It was recently remodeled (July 2024) if that matters to you. The hotel staff also let us leave our heavy luggage with them in a locked room for the whole day while my family & I were out getting go know the city. With all that being said, if you’re looking for a place to do a quick stop to freshen up or just somewhere to spend the night without breaking the bank, this might be a great destination for you.

“Nice stay at Hotel Adua”
I would give it a 5 if it weren't for the hike up the stairs to what us American's call the second floor. Our room was very nice, spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. I would give it a 5 if it weren't for the hike up the stairs to what us American's call the second floor. Our room was very nice, spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated. There was plenty of shelf space. There wasn't much of a view out of the window, only the wall of the next building. The king size bed didn't have a sheet, only a comforter. It was too hot using it and too cold not using it. The people running the hotel were friendly and helpful.

Our stay was alright. The first room we were given was not the room we thought we had paid for, the beds were camp beds, it didn't seem very clean and there were dead mosquitoes all over the walls (and alive ones flying about). We spoke to the desk clerk and explained that we were not happy and he did offer us a different room. We took the second option but it still wasn't what we had paid for. There was a sink in the room and it was much cleaner, the bed was a sturdy structure (though was 2 single mattresses on a double frame). There was a sink in the room and the two bathrooms were shared between the three annex rooms. The area surrounding was great very central and right near the train and bus station, plus lots of restaurants and shops, we were just very disappointed at the room quality. WiFi was available but seemed to stop working if too many people were using at the same time. On the plus side, it did make us spend most of our time out of the hotel and exploring the city!
