Myself & my sister stayed here for one night whilst attending the film festival. The hotel is quirky & characterful which we loved. Hotel room was very clean. We want to thank the French lady on reception who was more than generous with her time & advice on where to eat etc. She made our stay with her wonderful personality & friendliness. We would go back & stay here again without a doubt! Great location, minutes walk to the beautiful beach & shops/restaurants.

This is a wonderful little hotel in a very quiet location. 15 minutes walk from the boat station or 5 minutes by bus. The room has a small balcony with a table and chairs and comfortable bed. Vvery friendly staff. Communication was very pleasant Cozy breakfast room. Our fly arrived at night , the hotel does not have night reception, but the meeting was limited in the best way. There were keys and a welcome letter waiting for us. The prices in the restaurants on the Lido are much lower than in Venice. In the evening and in the morning you can walk along the sea. It's a 15 minute beautiful boat ride to Venice. It is also a very convenient way to the airport. Hope to return!

I don't mean this in a bad way, but coming here reminds me a lot of visiting elderly relatives when I was a kid. There're family mementos everywhere, the furniture is a mix and a bit haphazard. You're very aware that this is also someones home. However, it's no less comfortable for that. My room for the week was on the ground floor. It was a reasonable size, had aircon, a safe and a TV. The bathroom was en-suite containing toilet, bidet, shower and wash basin. As mentioned, the furniture was old but all was serviceable and the rooms were clean and cleaned daily. Breakfast was good everyday. There's a good variety of the usual 'continental' breakfast items including cold meats and cheeses, cereals, plus boiled eggs and some really nice homemade preserves to go with the toast. It all worked well, but I'd have loved a tea-pot! Yes, I know I'm in Italy and I can't help being English, but it would have been so much easier than trying wandering around with cups of tea, half made (uses less tea bags too!). The staff were friendly enough. I've read reviews that say they were impolite or unwelcoming. I never found that, and can't see what else was expected. I wasn't after conversation from them, just the basic facts at check-in and simple hellos were all I needed. I don't speak Italian, so I don't expect others to go out of their way to stretch their English for me. I was a little concerned about the keys. All the room keys are left un-managed in the reception area, and anyone could take any key. Although the door was supposed to be closed (needing a code to open it) this often was not the case. The hotel is in a decent location, it's quiet enough but it is in a built up area with no view as such. We walked from the ferry on arrival, but afterwards used the buses each time once we'd bought ACTV tickets. The trips on the ferry were fun and part of the holiday for us, it's quick enough into Venice that we didn't mind more that one journey a day if we wanted to return at night. Although I'm unlikely to return, I'd be happily stay at the hotel again. We had no problems and didn't find anything lacking. Thanks
