Spent three nights here recently and so glad we chose this location. As most other reviews mentioned, very clean accommodation, well stocked fridge, lots of space and a view to die for. Luca was a real gentleman, very welcoming. We didn’t see a lot of him, purely because we had no problems, everything was perfect. Giudecca is a great location, much quieter than staying in Venice itself. A supermarket and several restaurants were very handy. Would not hesitate staying here again.

This was our second stay in the Sandolino apartment in the Molino Stucky building. We loved sitting in front of our two narrow, church-like windows each evening with a glass of wine, overlooking the Giudecca Canal and the grand Hilton Hotel and observing the water traffic and the city of Venice beyond. Our other, larger, windows looked across the peaceful island of Giudecca towards outlying islands in the Venetian Lagoon. We also loved walking along the waterfront promenade, then turning sharp right into a narrow walkway or calle which led eventually to the local supermarket. In the early days, we would follow the local ladies with their shopping trolleys to the front door of the supermarket. It was such fun buying quality Italian produce to eat back in our apartment. You'll love staying on Giudecca and catching the comfortable Hilton ferry across to St. Mark's. The only criticism I'd make of our apartment is that the pillows on the bed were extremely hard - apart from that, it's a superb place to stay while visiting Venice.

And this is the place to stay. The main attraction easy to get to via a free shuttle bus provided by our neighbours the Hilton. If you need to escape the city we recommend an hours train ride to Verona. Our apartment perfect for the two of us and ample breakfast, but you can visit the nearby Co-op, don’t recommend the other alternative Prix. Are both on and off ‘our island’ plenty of choice variations in prices. Fabulous break, fabulous place, lovely staff. Thank you all.

Wonderful, excellent value apartment in tranquil waters away from the madness of San Marco. View of the Lagoon on two sides. A full-sized kitchen with a fully stocked fridge for breakfast each day. Consistently polite and accommodating service, which also included a bottle of prosecco for my birthday. Use of the very regular Hilton shuttle service to San Marco, which takes no longer than 15 minutes, and Giudecca is a very relaxed and beautiful island in itself. Excellent location to get away as a couple.

the room was air conditioned with all the essentials of towels ,toiletries, hairdryer .The kitchen was equipped for self catering and provided unlimited bottles of still and sparkling water ,nespresso machine plus pods and t bags with milk in the fridge .After reading reviews about breakfast supplies i was expecting the same but maybe i had a different package as these never materialised! the supermarket was only 2 bridges away and reasonably priced .The local water bus was cheap and easy to use as was the free shuttle boat from the hilton across to venice
