I recently stayed for a nine night stay here and found the staff were, without exception, very helpful and friendly. The centre is a short walk away and the hotel was comfortable and the staff helped me book a number of things whilst here. There is also a roof garden with a nice (but not amazing) view of the city. Breakfast was OK but I always prefer a cooked breakfast and it was maybe a bit basic. A couple of minor things (like a toilet that was difficult to flush etc). Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Florence.

“Stay”

Fantastic hotel with friendly staff they were very helpful with information and directions. Hotel clean and neat. Located close to bus stops and rain about 20 mins walk with wheel luggage. Bfast very good. boiled eggs with cold meats and cheeses. Fruit and fruit juices

“Nice and friendly very close to all sites”

Nice and clean, friendly staff, large room, good WIFI, good breakfast, a great open roof terrace (just bring your own wine or beer) overlooking the city. Walking distance to all sites and many good restaurants nearby. Good value for the money.

Before coming to the hotel I was reading the reviews and I realized some rooms are much nicer than the others. Obviously, when I checked in, I got the worst possible room - tiny, smelly, loud (on the 1st floor). I made a complain, as I was staying there for 7 nights and my boyfriend was joining me the next day, so we were expecting they will try to assign the nice room for us, not just the random one. Of course, there was nicer room available, they gave me that after one hour, but I do not understand why they could not think of that before? Especially that I wrote them e-mail 2 weeks before making sure they will consider the duration of our stay. And still, the new room was not the cleanest room - the bathroom was super moldy, how much does the new bath curtain cost? Apparently too much to change it and it was super gross. We were just taking quick showers and did not used it at all. So keep in mind that you can randomly get very bad room or not super bad room, but do not even bother writing to them in advance. But once you get there, the service is pretty nice and helpful. Location is also good and breakfast is tasty.
