Fabulous hotel, we upgraded to a deluxe balcony room overlooking the lake which was a beautiful view to wake up to. It’s not next level luxe but perfectly adequately furnished in a perfect location 5-10 mins walk to the castle and the ferry dock with exceptionally friendly staff. Plenty of sun loungers in garden and around garden area and a lovely treat to be spaced out in the huge garden area. Breakfast was excellent and the service was very friendly, the selection of cakes was a real treat in the Morning and there is a hot plate with freshly made scrambled eggs ( not the powder mass produced ones) and streaky bacon as part of the plentiful offering. We had lunch twice there and salads were fab. Lugana wine and aperols were our tipple of choice and the bar staff were available anytime. If you stay on the left side of the road towards the old town there is a pink building selling wines and olive oil and that was the best €10 lugana wine we found to buy. You’re spoilt for choice for restaurants and a couple of standouts were the lakeside Carouso, il girasole, Osteria al torcol, Al boccondivino trattoria. Castle, catullo grotto, therme spa ( 5 hours), Jamaica beach ( take shoes to wear in water), we took the fast ferry to Limone ( it was more like 2.5hrs not 2 hrs and is all inside with A/C) had an ice cream/spritz for an hourish then the ferry to Malcesine and a few hours there and fast ferry back. So many beautiful places to see in Lake Garda so hard to fit it all in!! Taxi transfer cost from Verona airport to hotel miramar was €80 with Sirmione taxis arranged ahead, and then our taxi to Verona city was €100 and we stayed a night there and taxi from Verona city to the airport was €27. One last tip was use insect repellent day and night you are by the lakeside so bites are plentiful!! Otherwise amazing

We had a fantastic time in the Mirimar hotel, I would 100 % recommend it, The rooms are lovely ,sheets and towels changed every day, the staff couldn't be more friendlier and helpful. It's location is perfect too just far enough from the hustle and bustle of the centre but a short walk to reach it . The views of the lake are lovely especially the sunsets over the lake every evening. Breakfast and evening meals were really good too . Cannot fault anything about this hotel .

Good breakfasts, friendly, family run hotel. We both are elderly with walkers. It was 800 metres to the town centre and ferries, a bit far for us but we did it because the local taxi drivers would not do short distances- our only criticism.

This hotel is situated right on the edge of the Lake Garda and is walking distance from the castle and a few restaurants. There is parking available. All the areas were very clean at all times. Basics are provided in the room ie showergel, handwash and shower caps. There is a mini fridge in the room as well. The towels provided were on the thin side would say they need replacing. The staff were helpful. There are chairs to relax in by the pool and in the garden and there is a table tennis table on the beach. The views form the dining room were beautiful. However, we felt that the breakfasts could have been better. The dining room is stark and not inviting enough in the evening to have dinner . There is an area outside the dining room for relaxing and the bar is open all the time. Overall the hotel requires updating but because of its location its easy to get to places from there.
