“Ticks all of the boxes .”
Excellent hotel - for a 3* . Bed was very large and very comfortable; bedroom adequate without being huge , but had all the necessary facilities- A/C , black-out blinds etc. Breakfast very good . Would definitely recommend. If we travel to this area again , will stay here .

We had previously looked at this hotel before but had to postpone our trip due to the pandemic. Now we were looking for a late booking and we were lucky enough to get a double room with a lake view. (Room 305). The room was excellent with a really comfortable bed, excellent bathroom facilities and great air conditioning. This was essential as we arrived in the middle of a heatwave. Check in was easy and the staff were very friendly and gave us loads of local information. The hotel was just a 5 minute walk to the lake. There was wifi and satellite tv, although we only watched a bit of the UK Sky channel. We arrived by taxi, but if travelling by car there was excellent off road parking. We will definitely be going back to the hotel again.

We are just back from a week's stay at Villa Rosa, in a lake view room with balcony, and had a fantastic week. Our room was spotlessly clean with a nice view, owners Patricia and Diego were welcoming and extremely helpful, with advice on local amenities, and buses, and gave us discount vouchers for ferries and more, along with local maps and leaflets. Shower was powerful, always hot water, lots of white towels and toiletries. Comfortable bed and lots of storage space, with a security safe. As the nights were hot, the air conditioning was fantastic. The rate included breakfast, which was the best we have had, with cereals, fruit, nuts, yoghurt, pastries and cakes, and cold meat, cheese, eggs, bacon, toast and tea/coffee. Laura and Andrea looked after us extremely well at breakfast, always cheery and helpful, it was a lovely start to each day. The location is ideal, on shuttle bus route to old town and castle (1 euro), but also very short walk to Columbare which had supermarket, cafes, and the bus stop to Verona. 20 minute walk to old Sirmione. Right across from the hotel (by the ice cream parlour) are a couple of lovely lakeside restaurants, and a grassy beach area with sunbed hire and watersports/swimming. Beware there are mosquitoes in the evening but that's inevitable by a lake in summer. On the walk to the old town there are shops, grassy park areas and a great crazy golf course. There are beaches in Sirmione which looked good, loads of people in the water. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, it's charming. The owners ordered us taxis, and even helped me out when I needed a doctor. We would love to return some time in the future.

My wife and I stayed here for a week from 23rd May and we had a fantastic experience. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Laura, Patricia and Diego. Giving us advice on travel ( both boat and bus). Giving us discount vouchers for the boats. And all necessary leaflets. Situated about a mile from the bustle of lovely Sirmione, you can either stroll into town or catch a shuttle bus just across the street ( runs every 20 minutes ) and costs just one euro. In Sirmione it is possible me to catch a boat to virtually any town on the lake. Our favourites, possibly in order were, Lazise, Limone, Malcesine and Salo. Going back to the hotel, must give a special mention for Andrea who was so attentive at breakfast time. In a nutshell this is a really great place to stay.

Villa Rosa is a small hotel just over 2 kilometres from Sirmione old town and Scaligera castle. The hotel is run by members of a family who are all eager to serve you and do their best to ensure you have a lovely holiday. They have a great knowledge of the surrounding area and can supply maps and timetables and discounted vouchers for boat services and nearby restaurants. Buffet breakfast has a wide variety of food including scrambled eggs and bacon. Our room was bright and airy and spotlessly clean. The many shops and restaurants in the old town are about half an hour's walk away, at least at the pace we walked, but there is a regular bus service running frequently in the summer months and two per hour at other times. If you need a taxi from Verona Airport you can arrange this in advance with the hotel. Villa Rosa is highly recommended. One of our nicest holidays.
