On 23 January 2020, the new Balearic Law against Tourism Excesses entered into force, which prohibits all-inclusive deals with unlimited alcoholic beverages. Only a maximum of three alcoholic beverages per guest will be served during lunch and/or dinner.
We would also like to inform you of the following restrictions included in the law:
Practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests are strictly prohibited at hotels, apartments and holiday properties. These practices include climbing from one balcony or window to another and jumping from inappropriate places such as balconies into swimming pools (a practice widely known as ';balconing';). Guests breaking the law will be immediately banished from the property and may be fined, states the law and the corresponding municipal regulations. The hotel/apartment manager or property agent must order said guests to leave immediately, which may require assistance from the security forces.
Failure to comply with the prohibition of practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests will be considered a serious offence. In the Balearic Islands, serious offences are subject to a fine between 6,001 and 60,000 euros.

Our stay at Hotel Arya by Mauro in Sirmione was overall pleasant and memorable. We stayed in a room located in the new building, which was spotlessly clean and recently renovated. The modern decor and comfortable ambiance added to the experience. The staff were exceptional—always willing to help and provide valuable guidance for exploring the area. A special mention goes to Michael, whose friendliness and attentiveness made our stay even better. The buffet breakfast was another highlight, offering a good variety of options to start the day. However, the only downside was the lack of proper sound insulation in the walls. Unfortunately, we had the misfortune of a neighbor taking a shower at 6 AM, and the sound of water was so loud it felt as if we were in the same room. Additionally, conversations or laughter from adjacent rooms could be easily heard, which slightly impacted the overall tranquility of our stay. Despite this minor inconvenience, Hotel Arya by Mauro is a charming choice for a stay in Sirmione, with excellent service and modern amenities.
