On 23 January 2020, the new Balearic Law against Tourism Excesses entered into force, which prohibits all-inclusive deals with unlimited alcoholic beverages. Only a maximum of three alcoholic beverages per guest will be served during lunch and/or dinner.
We would also like to inform you of the following restrictions included in the law:
Practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests are strictly prohibited at hotels, apartments and holiday properties. These practices include climbing from one balcony or window to another and jumping from inappropriate places such as balconies into swimming pools (a practice widely known as ';balconing';). Guests breaking the law will be immediately banished from the property and may be fined, states the law and the corresponding municipal regulations. The hotel/apartment manager or property agent must order said guests to leave immediately, which may require assistance from the security forces.
Failure to comply with the prohibition of practices which may endanger the life, health and physical integrity of guests will be considered a serious offence. In the Balearic Islands, serious offences are subject to a fine between 6,001 and 60,000 euros.

“Strongly recommend”
This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Rome and the surroundings are charming too. The staff are very nice and the all the rooms are beautifully decorated, very clean and really comfortable. Plenty of space, great amenities. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel, loved my stay here!

I get the impression that the negative reviews are from people who are not well-traveled in Europe.

“A Charming Hotel”

I've just stayed in this hotel for the past 4 nights. The entrance was hard to find after arriving late at night, but when we found the entrance and rang the bell, we received a warm welcome. The downstairs part of the building that you pass through is a bit rundown but that's no fault to the hotel. The boutique hotel was lovely,"a safe haven" in a busy place. The staff were wonderfully friendly and went above and beyond to cater for our needs. The room was cosy, the breakfast was nice, with plenty of continental options. The water was hot, plenty of fresh towels, and a little mini bar in the bedroom.The location was so central. We had a lovely few days in Hotel Locanda Cairoli. Thank you to all the staff. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Rome.

“Could do better”
Nice reception area, friendly and helpful staff. But bedrooms, particularly my bathroom very tired and in need of redecorating. Breakfast is pretty average and could be better but coffee good. Great location but for me it’s more three and a half stars than four.
