“Hilltop hotel”
The location is quite close to a train station via a short cut , else you need to climb a mountain to get there. The hotel facilities are great for a budget hotel and some of staff doesn't speak English. Unless you have a vehicle its better to avoid this place as its quite far from the Vatican

Stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks and here’s my experience: Location: If you want to be nearby the Vatican this place is a good place. You may need to walk for a little bit but it isn’t as dragging for someone who’s into running/walking/hiking - yes it will be quite a hike going up to this place. You are nearby a local cafe, gym, supermarket, and restaurants. Hotel: You know the movie like you are in a seminary. The rooms are like that. Simple but pretty outdated. They have a garden, a bar, restaurant, and a chapel. You cannot shower after 11pm so no cleaning time after late night out. Service: It is the usual. The staff who cleans our place is really dedicated to get your room cleaned. We had few issues in the room and need someone to get inside and fix it. Room: The room is like a sound absorber, the entire time we were there in the morning you will here all opening doors, staff cleaning, like you are required to listen with the door banging and everything. Overall, it was just a place - you also need to fight for the wifi if you are working while traveling.

This hotel was booked for me as I was attending a congress in Rome. The hotel was very basic although the breakfast was good. My room was a small single bedroom with a shower room. Shower was good but the plumbing made some interesting noises! There is a bar that is not well stocked but you can get water for your room etc. There is also a coins only snack and drink machine. Taxi service was excellent with a very short waiting time, but that is typical in Rome. Wifi worked well.
