Charming and slightly old fashioned hotel. Great location near the Spanish Steps with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Short walk to the Metro. Excellent location, central to all major attractions in walking distance, lovely road but very quiet in room, you step into the courtyard and met by a member of staff then take a ride in the fabulous old lift. Excellent location, central to all major attractions in walking distance, lovely road but very quiet in room, you step into the courtyard and met by a member of staff then take a ride in the fabulous old lift. Reception staff are so welcoming and friendly with lots of information if required. Our room was perfect for a three night stay, small but adequate - beautiful and clean, fresh towels each day, bed comfortable with soft and firm pillows - perfect! Good shower and hair dryer to plug in, not on the wall in the bedroom. Breakfast was good, excellent choice of pastries and delicious cakes, selection of hot bacon, scrambled eggs, fruit and cereal to set you up for the day . We couldn’t have wished for a better hotel for our 3 night stay in Rome, would definitely recommend!

Lovely hotel and well placed for sightseeing.We loved the old world feel, especially the lift. Facilities in the rooms are modern, very comfortable beds, good continental breakfast. The best thing about the hotel is the staff. Every person we encountered was friendly polite and extremely helpful and knowledgeable…they really made us feel like nothing was too much trouble and gave us great information about local restaurants, a map to guide us on a walking tour and went to great lengths to get us a taxi (at a very busy time of day), to catch our train on time. Would love to return one day!
