We loved staying at this hotel, we visited for a week in August (me and my two older boys) and we loved staying here, the hotel was also very reasonably priced. The hotel staff were truly helpful and professional and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. There was room service every day and the breakfast was varied and enjoyable. The only down side was we didn't have tea and coffee in the room but tbh it wasn't that much of big deal since everything else was great. The room was clean, had air con, a safe and wifi. The location was great too, only a short bus ride to the main city centre and there is a supermarket about a ten minute walk from the hotel. If we visited again, I would happily book this place again. Highly recommended.

Just returned from a 3 night stay to watch Wales play in the 6 Nations. The staff running the hotel were very accommodating and helpful with everything we asked of them. this hotel, are very open armed and welcoming. The outside of the hotel needs a bit of tlc but inside the hotel was more that what we needed for our stay. The rooms had high ceiling which made them feel bright and airy. The location of the hotel is slightly out of centre of Rome but that is exactly what we wanted as we wanted to escape the hustle and bustle of the city after spending all ay sight seeing. I would 100% definitely stay at the hotel again should we be in Rome. The transport links to the city are pretty good we used the 360 bus that took us directly to the Termini in the heart of Rome and also the metro line at Campi Sportivi. This is a 10-15 min walk from the hotel and takes you directly to near Piazza del Popolo which is 30 min walk to the Vatican City. Just keep in mind that this was a more rough around the edges transport system not 100% sure if Id use it late at night. If I did have a top tip for anyone staying at Rome it would be to buy a paper ticket we purchased a 48 hr one. You could easily rely on contactless payment or a mobile phone app. However pickpocketing is rife in Rome and I would rather have my phone and wallet safely tucked away and use a paper card when hopping on public transport. Also when using the metro I found the paper ticket easier to navigate the barriers than the app on my mobile, and finally not all buses we used had the QR code reader for my mobile phone but everyone did have the machine to validate my paper ticket.

If your looking for an alternative just outside the city but in a nice area to stay in, I would recommend this place for sure.

“Throwback to the 1970s Hotel.”
Very nice staff, but this hotel is quite dated. Actually very dated. It could be a wonderful movie set from the early 1970s. Stay was comfortable. Hotel is average. This was a Tripadvisor plus deal, so on that note I was a bit disappointed.
