We stayed at Hotel Gravina San Pietro from August 25th to September 4th, and it was truly a memorable experience. The location is unbeatable, just a 10-minute walk from St. Peter’s Basilica and Castel Sant’Angelo, making it extremely convenient to explore Rome. Additionally, the San Pietro train station is only 100 meters away, providing easy access from the airport. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Vito, who was very attentive and helpful. For us, the most important features were the in-room safe box and air conditioning. The room and bed were very comfortable, spotless, and also had a small refrigerator and coffee maker. We truly enjoyed our stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and assisted us with everything we needed. We especially want to highlight Vito, who guided us with so much care, as well as Max and Andrea, who were also very helpful. We are deeply grateful for their hospitality. If you’re looking for a central and welcoming place to stay in Rome, we definitely recommend Hotel Gravina San Pietro, located at Via della Cava Aurelia 17-00165, Rome. Dear friends at Hotel Gravina San Pietro, we would like to take this opportunity to wish you a Merry Christmas, filled with love, peace, and blessings. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable. See you soon!”

“Great place if you want to walk to Vatican”
Very good hotel located just a few minutes from St. Peter’s Basilica. The staff were very friendly, providing guidance on how to explore Rome during our stay. The room was spacious and clean, with great views of the Basilica. We will definitely come back and recommend this place.

“Rome November 2023”
We needed to stay near the Vatican for a conference. This was in a convenient walking distance. The bus into the heart of the city is a short walk. The hotel served its purpose for us to visit our son studying abroad, as well as location to the Vatican. However, there is a massive construction project ongoing that is so noisy and disruptive. Granted one doesn't come to Rome to hang in the hotel, but the construction started as early as 7 am and went on all day. We would often want to come back to the room for an hour between our tours, and we couldn't relax at all. Avoid the even numbered side of the hotel at all cost - the construction workers are level with your room windows. Not able to keep windows open at all due to dust and noise. This all really ruined this hotel for us.

The room was dirty, a lot of dust on the floor, instead of a duvet cover, the dirty duvet was placed between two sheets (!) The cleaning lady entered the room without asking when there were no guests (she took my private towel thinking it was a hotel towel. It was taken to the laundry and I never got it back despite my requests). The location was quite good, although it is quite a walk to the city center. The breakfasts were tasty.
