We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is perfect for walking to the various attractions and just one block away from the much higher priced hotels on the Via Veneto. The rooms themselves are varied in size and layout because it’s a building that, while well maintained, has a bit of “old world” touches, like an elevator with a 4 person max capacity that only goes up to the 4th of 5 floors, or a two level room 503 with a bathroom on level 1 and a tight spiral staircase up to the bedroom. If you’re looking for a uniform, modern, typical chain-type room experience keep looking. If you want an extremely quiet room with an upscale bath and a few unique appointments, this is your place. That said, the rooms take a backseat to the staff. I can’t say enough about the helpfulness and diligence of the employees. Vincent at the front desk was incredible in so many ways. He anticipated our every need and made us feel so welcomed. The breakfast buffet was amazing as was the young lady managing the needs of the hotel guests. Great cappuccino! It’s tough to be budget conscious in Rome, but if you’re like us, you still try to keep your spending somewhat reasonable. The adjacent little restaurant is a great place for a touch of Italy without breaking the bank. If you’re lucky enough to get Gabriel, he will make your meal that much more enjoyable with his positive energy. With all the choices for lodging in Rome, we fully expected that our stay would be a “once and done” experience to permit trying other places when we return. That won’t happen. We will definitely stay at La Residenza whenever we return to Rome.

We stayed at La Residenza Hotel in Roma for 3 nights . We found the position great for exploring Rome on foot, all the sights were easily accessible. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly . The breakfast food was great and we had a lovely evening meal at the restaurant. We loved our large , scrupulously clean , quaint room, with a shuttered doors out to a deck . We would highly recommend this small Hotel to explore Rome from . Helen and Murray . NZ We found it outstanding .

I would recommend this hotel for a stay in Rome. Room was very clean and spacious. Location good as it was a short walk to shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. I would say that it is slightly uphill on the walk coming back from the core attractions. The food in the quaint restaurant was really good. We ate there 2 nights in a row. The hotel included breakfast which had a good variety of foods to choose from. Staff friendly and helpful and airport shuttle was reasonable and prompt. The only negatives were the small wall fridge, lack of coffee makers and no usb charging ports. If you didn’t bring converter plug there was no using ports. Considering this hotel is used by many travellers, this would be a no brainer option.

The staff are exceptionally nice and very helpful The room and hotel are very clean The breakfast is very good and plentiful. They never run out of anything. It is constantly being replenished. Unfortunately there are several things that let it down for me..... 1) The bathtub was out of order 2) The bathroom was cold in mid November.The heated towel rails are not turned on until mid December.How crazy is that. 3) No window in the room. Only a door leading out to the patio 4) no coffee machine in the bedroom or at least in the lobby 5) bad smell in the room 6) no T.V channels where English was spoken- what use is the tv??
