This is an outstanding hotel in an outstanding location. The single rooms we had were large, well-maintained and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and was continually being replenished. The only complaint I have is that the reception staff stepped right outside the door to smoke and we … more
This is an outstanding hotel in an outstanding location. The single rooms we had were large, well-maintained and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and was continually being replenished. The only complaint I have is that the reception staff stepped right outside the door to smoke and we had to walk through that to enter. I know they need to stay within sight of the desk, but those of us who don't smoke, really don't want to get that smell on our clothes.

“A Good Hotel!”
It was a good hotel, off the tourist path. A short walking distance from the train station and right next to a Metro stop. Easy to get to the rest of Rome from Hotel Napoleon. It was a good hotel, off the tourist path. A short walking distance from the train station and right next to a Metro stop. Easy to get to the rest of Rome from Hotel Napoleon. Staff was friendly and the room was clean. Breakfast was quite good, I'd recommend it for Americans. Lots of options. "Off the tourist path" means the closest restaurants were Indian, Sri Lankan, Nepali and Chinese but since we were in Rome over Christmas, these were some of the only places that were open. Personally I thought the neighborhood was eclectic and liked walking there. I'd stay there again!

“Average hotel with good breakfast spread”
Average hotel with very good breakfast spread. Rooms are little old but nothing to complain about. Breakfast is good. Typical continental food that you expect. I loved the coffee. Location is ok as there is a metro station right outside the hotel. Not many options for food around the hotel.
