“Excellent Location”
Love the hotel and the location! Great breakfast buffet at the patio. The hotel is steps away from Trastevere, that’s very convenient! The people at the front desk were friendly. I forgot my airpods at the hotel and they shipped them to me!!!

I am not sure why this hotel has received some recent negative reviews. Whilst we would agree that this hotel isn’t one of those sterile soulless modern hotels ….what the hotel is, it is a lovely city hotel that is charming and authentically Italian. We found the hotel to be everything we were looking for in a city hotel. It is located just across the road from the Ponte Sisto bridge over the Tiber, up a quiet road that had very little traffic passing by. Its location makes it good as a base to reach major sight seeing locations or for just wandering around the city. We found our classic room (the cheapest room in the house) to be spotlessly clean, well appointed and very spacious. Whilst we didn’t have an amazing view it wasn’t a bad view either ! The public areas were clean and welcoming and we were able to enjoy the roof terrace, walled garden and a lovely breakfast each day. From the bell hop to the reception, housekeeping, bar and restaurant staff …every single member of staff we interacted with were friendly, professional and very helpful. We would return in a heartbeat. Thank you Hotel Ponte Sisto !

“Very mediocre hotel”
Good location. Rooms were clean but dated. Bed was comfortable. The staff (other than one person at the bar) were rude. Other than breakfast, we never ate at the hotel because the staff ignored us for so long that we went elsewhere. The breakfast was included but mediocre at best. The rooftop… more
Good location. Rooms were clean but dated. Bed was comfortable. The staff (other than one person at the bar) were rude. Other than breakfast, we never ate at the hotel because the staff ignored us for so long that we went elsewhere. The breakfast was included but mediocre at best. The rooftop bar was very nice when you could get service (one night the two bartenders basically ignored us, the other night the woman bartender was great). There are so many hotels to choose from in Rome that I would suggest going somewhere else.
